Anyone else catch the first 2 new episodes? The guy that they got to replace Codi, Matt, is showing some serious skills and I love it when he puts Joe in his place.

I wasn't going to watch it without Cody Lundin, but a guy at work said I really need to check out the skills of Matt Graham, so I watched the last 2 episodes. That guy is great and you can actually see that Joe Teti is out of his league with Matt Graham. That stunt he pulled to go back into the hole to get those eye glass lenses was flat out stupid and he looked stupid doing it. Also, going on an on about the damn rattlesnake was equally agonizing, even if I agreed with him. I can see at some point where they get rid of Teti and replace him with someone that is more an equal to Graham.

In two shows he's killed a peccary and a turkey, made fire using a hand spindle, a bow and glass lenses and used a tree sap on the shelter posts to keep the bugs from climbing up into thier shelter. I've learned alot in these first 2 episodes and I absoultely love seeing Joe humbled.

Joe Teti is completely out of his league. So much so that it's kind of embarrassing for him I think. It would have been great to see Lundin and Graham instead of Teti and Graham.

Yea I thing the show's producers want those vastly different points of view that's why they kept Joe, if it was Matt and Codi they may just decide to never get rescued and just hand out for a few months

I like the new guy better than Cody. The only real problem is that he is better at what Joe does than Joe is himself. Pretty much the ultimate survival badass.

Ditto. Cody was annoying. This new guy is way better. I remember thinking Joe had his #### together when he was paired with Cody but this other guy makes him look like a clown. Even Joe seems to be in awe.
