For you laptop guys that own an ipad , I may be the last one to the party but I just discovered this today https://www.duetdisplay.com/

And it rocks. You plug your ipad into your laptop and it turns your ipad into a 2nd monitor. Works great so far. It's not cheap at $15 for the app but if you want more screen real estate and you have an ipad, this thing is great.

$15 doesn't seem bad if it works. Most cable cost more than that. I might gives this a try since I struggle working from home with my small Monitor on my laptop.

I'm liking it a lot so far @trogg78  Granted I've had it just for about an hour but I was wowed with how much I liked it.

Two reasons for me. 

1. I already had the ipad so I got this for $15.

2. I want to be able to travel with this setup.
