Dukett on trading block (1 Viewer)

Earlier this week there were rumors about Atl not being able to afford Dunn, and now Dukett. Sounds like Rich has his hands full.If the Bus retires this guy could be a good replacement. I know he was a 1st round bust, and people probably won't take too kind to him being compared to the Bus. But, just his size alone could make him lethal behind Pitts line.

This is a bad year to trade a RB. There are too many good FA Rbs available this year and a nice young crop of college Rbs coming out. Why would anyone give something up for someone of less value rather than get something better at no cost (besides the contract). I doubt Atlanta will find any suitors.

I don't think many view him as a bust.He had a tough year to be sure, but until his injury he was having a strong career.

His rookie year was decent.

His second year he scored 11 TDs.

His third year he averaged 4.9 ypc and scored 8 TDs.

He scored a TD in his first four games this year, but then got hurt and didn't play well the rest of the season.

I was very high on him when he came out of college, and think he could still do well somewhere.

Oh, duh. A little slow today.
That's OK. That's pretty much me every day. My high school tennis coach used to say ,"Better to drive a little slow and be a little late than be the LATE Mr. Giles." Funny guy. We'd do butterfly stretches and he'd say "this stretches your GROWING muscle. Be careful, don't FLY AWAY.He, he, he." :tumbleweed: The king of dry humor. Very, very, dry.
