I thought it was very mediocre. Had its moments, but needed to be about 20 minutes shorter. It dragged a lot in the middle.

It was also interesting that the 3 previews just before the showing were all for sequels to bad movies. Horrible Bosses, Paul Blart, and Night at the Museum. I don't completely hate Horrible Bosses because the cast is too good for it to be well, horrible. I was pretty shocked to see this trio all had sequels coming out though (though, I guess Museum's had a couple by now).

I hope this doesn't suck. The original is a top 10 comedy for me.

Even if this does suck, it will by no means make me love the original any less.

The Longest Yard remake totally ruined the original.

That wasn't really the point I was trying to make - more like my expectations will be high for this one since they've got the principles back from the original and I hope they don't let me down. You know, like what happened with the last Indiana Jones movie.

You actually have high expectations when it comes to sequels? Aside from the Godfather II and Empire Strikes Back most of them totally suck.

Terminator II was awesome.

D&D is my favorite comedy ever. part 2 was pretty awful, and I went in with low expectations. seemed like they went way overboard trying to sell the "hey, these guys are dumb. no, like REALLY dumb."

Saw it today with my teenaged son. I didn't have my expectations set too high, since sequels typically suck, but I enjoyed it. Similar to the first one, I feel I need to watch it a few more times to really appreciate it. These guys are hilarious together!

saw it with a friend the night it came out, I thought it was great. Had some of those very hard laughs that game me flashbacks to first time I saw the first one. First 20 minutes I thought it was gonna suck but then it picked up. The prank in the guys hotel and then the car with audio being the ringing in their ears had me dying. Loved Llyod's reaction to the peanut on the nose game and him trying to fly driving away from the tornado.
