[Dynasty] 2025 NFL Draft Class (3 Viewers)

A.B.
Dylan Sampson was recorded at a 4.46-4.49 40 at his Pro Day

Using his combine weight he’s right around a 100 Speed Score

Not amazing for a guy billed as a speed back but certainly not bad and meets the thresholds we look for

Dane Brugler
Tennessee RB Dylan Sampson only ran the 40 at yesterday's pro day (and didn't disappoint).

4.42/1.58

🧵There's a small-school RB seemingly every year that ends up getting drafted Day 3 and making an impact as rookie.

Two years ago it was Jaleel McLaughlin with Broncos and Dylan Laube appears on-track for a role this year based off early reports from Raiders camp.

𝐖𝐡𝐨'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐠𝐮𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭 𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞? @seniorbowl is calling our shot early on Delaware RB Marcus Yarns.

The biggest thing that usually separates guys that fall into "good college back"' category (and there's tons of those!) and legit pro prospects is how explosive they are.

Believe us, Yarns (5102v, 185v, 31 arm, 8 5/8 hand) has NFL juice. 🧃

Springy athlete runs with low pad level and natural lean, which you can see from rewind-worthy below 👇.

While he lacks ideal size, Yarns' excellent contact balance gives him a real sturdiness that will translate at the next level.

Checkout next clip to see why we think @MarcusYarns will be favorite of NFL offensive coordinators during pre-draft process...

RB value goes 𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙮𝙮𝙮𝙮 𝙪𝙥 in if they can create mismatches in passing game, which @Delaware_FB RB Marcus Yarns (motioning into tight left slot) shows he can do here.

Speed is easy to see and it's hard to find backs that can track & finish on 50-yard go balls!

Devy owners, remember the name, @MarcusYarns. 💤📈

People really sleeping on Devin Neal... Unpopular opinion alert---> I like his game better than all these guys outside of Jeanty..

I loved watching him on film before the combine. I still like his film. If he's smart, he'll show up at the Big 12 Pro Day that's going on and run because he had a terrible combine when it came to measured speed. He's being mocked as a Day Three guy, and I don't think the NFL is all that far off in their assessment.

Devin Neal is listed as one of the participants at the "Pro Day" going on from the 18th-21st, according to this site, which I think is the official Big 12 Pro Day site.

I’m a little surprised that Arizona RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt got snubbed and I’m disappointed because I wanted to see him there.

Tex

Let's tune in to the Big 12 "Pro Day" going on March 18-21. Perhaps we can suss out some stuff there. I love this guy's highlights and size. He's a natural back. Looks great. Arizona says he will be there.

By the way, I think Jacory Croskey-Merritt is going to merit his own FBG page when all is said and done with his career.

eta* And I'm not doing that just for the pun, which only occurred to me after I typed it. Heh. I think he's an excellent running back from the highlights that I saw.

The tape doesn't lie my friend... Those combine numbers can be deceiving... Id love to see him land in Denver...

Combine numbers can be very deceiving but MPH numbers are a little trickier to fake, and he didn't seem to be up to speed at with those, either. And you're talking that I was one of the guys who after watching the highlights thought he was one of my "picks to click" or whatever they call it.

But I've gotta adjust priors when they turn out to be wrong because what it takes to acquire draft capital is precious here and I can't be blowing it on tests slow/plays slow. I'd like to see him explode at the Big Twelve days and give everybody second thoughts about what might turn out to be a bad Combine day or even just a bad drill for him.

Found a link to a company doing results for the Big 12 Pro Day. I'm not sure where the official results will be posted (or if there are centralized official results), but this might be a good reference. I think that the running backs go tomorrow. At any rate, here are the results from the LBs, OLs, and DLs today.

The Pro Day is on tomorrow Thursday, March 20th on NFL.com at 1 PM EDT—so that's 12 AM CDT, and 10 AM PDT

I hear you.. picks are valuable... You're looking at a second round rookie pick tho... Time will tell either way

At the Big Twelve Pro Day, Jacory Croskey-Merritt ran a 4.45 forty, was clocked at a sustained speed of 22.05 MPH, jumped a 10'4" broad jump, had a 41.5" vertical, and ran a 3-cone of 4.44.

Some of those are something else. His vertical led all running backs, as did his forty time and sustained speed. His broad jump placed third, and his three cone was average for an RB.
