Dynasty Draft - Williams or Howard (1 Viewer)

12 team, 0.5 PPR. Start 1/2/3/1. Pick 1.07. 

I have an insane collection of WRs (ODB, Julio, Brown, AJG, Cooper, Corey Davis and Perriman).  My TEs are Ertz and Doyle. 

Howard is the need pick, but Williams is probably the value pick.

Top 6 picks: Fournette, Mixon, Cook, Davis, McCaffrey, and Perine.

I also have the 2.02, so I could roll the dice that one of the top 3 TEs fall. I know one team will draft a TE before then.

What's wrong with Ertz and Doyle? I mean they aren't studs, but especially in a 12 teamer, those are both low end TE1 guys.

I'd probably go Williams, your depth allows you to be patient with him. I probably wouldn't have gone Davis where you took him, as I assume you took him in the top-4.

If I am only considering those two players I would go with Howard because back/neck injuries scare the crap out of me and I wouldn't want to waste the pick.  Get the top TE that you can "groom" while Ertz carries the load for a year or two. 

However, there may other players I would rather have than either of those two at pick 7.  Who is off the board?

Fournette, Mixon, Cook, Davis, McCaffrey and Perine.

I would take the best talent....and IMO that's Howard.  As Gally said, Ertz can handle the load this year and you can throw Doyle in a potential trade.

What are your RB's like?  Is that a big need spot?  I would guess not otherwise I probably would have gone with McCaffrey over Davis especially with the WR corps you have.  Davis probably never sees the field as he is #6 with almost everyone ahead of him having at least 3 years of top level output ahead of them. 

I wouldn't go Williams at all.  I would either go Howard or the top RB on your board.

Looking at your WRs and how your draft went, i'm very surprised you went Davis over McCaffrey. At this pick, I'd probably go with Kareem Hunt personally.

I should have given better info. I tried to be too concise. 

I also had the 1.03 and picked up Cook. My RB corps has Gordon, Gurley, Lynch and Lacy as well and some bench fodder. 

My thought was just BPA and I had Davis as my #1 player on the board.
