Dynasty Off-Season - Pick apart my roster (1 Viewer)

This is my first off-season in a true dynasty format. I'm not sure how to approach it and to what degree I should be churning my roster. This is a 12 team, half PPR, TE-Premium, SF league. 25 player roster with 3 player rookie taxi squad.

Start: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, Flex, Flex, Flex, SF

This is my roster, and I have all of my future picks left (5 rounds). You might not believe it, but this roster won the title last year, so I pick last in each round. What approach would you take with this team? No real studs outside of Jackson, but lots of steady players. I probably have the best QB depth chart in the league.

Here are my thoughts:
  • QB: Nice for SF. Never stop trying to obtain talen there. With having the last pick in each round it could lend itself to taking some shots at rookie QB's if the value is there. In your spot reaching for QB in the rookie draft is a better dart throw than other positions unless there is a guy that falls that you really like. If you are throwing a dart the upside of hitting on a QB is worth it over some other positions.
  • RB: You could use a set it and forget RB that is on the younger side. You have some depth but not much beyond Cook/Mixon (not sure how much value he has left). Bigsby and Davis have potential but the rest are pretty useless in the grand scheme of things.
  • WR: Need a youth infusion. I would target this with your first pick in the draft. There should be WR's that could pop in that area of the draft...there always are.....you just need to guess right. Don't force a WR though. If there is a QB or RB you like better its fine. Always take BPA. But in general you need some up and comers at this position so you aren't left holding the bag
  • TE: Way too many TE's. Those roster spots are better suited for RB and WR darts. With LaPorta and Jonnu you are fine for the foreseable future. Jettison the rest for more RB/WR dart throws.
