Dynasty Rankings - Aren't we paying for it to be updated? (1 Viewer)

When you click on the link it says

If it's in the members area, it would be nice if it was updated by at least a few experts 3-4 times a year.

All the week to week stuff is great, but a lot of us are in dynasty leagues. It would be nice to have something current to check out during the year. I don't think it needs to be updated more then 4 times a season. Week 4, week 8, week 12, week 16 is probably plenty. Or at worst week 8 and week 16.

I also seem to remember somewhere on the site that said full player rankings "always current". This is the first year where no one has updated the rankings at all.

I'd think in the next week or so a few will update their rankings. If I recall Bloom doesn't update his dynasty rankings until after around week 6 as dynasty pictures become more clear, and the "fluke" players weed themselves out.

As for the dynasty rankings, I am looking forward to them too. I know Bloom was busy, and said he would work on them pretty soon.

I guess they're using the term "always current" loosely.

Yeah I don't mean to complain. But it's one of the reasons I do subscribe just to see how others value the ups and downs during the season. Getting ahead of the curve in dynasty is a big edge.

Agreed. Both my leagues are dynasty and I assumed there would be updates when I bought the subscription.

I've never seen him say that (not saying he didn't say it, just saying I never knew he said it). If he did say it, then I strongly, strongly, *STRONGLY* disagree with that statement. Dynasty rankings change SUBSTANTIALLY more from weeks 1-6 than they do from weeks 7-17. I'm talking about many, many orders of magnitude higher. If you wait until after week 6 to avoid the "flukes", then you're also going to miss out on all of the non-flukes.
