Well I earned it.

I don't follow college super close, but there doesn't seem to be any standout candidates for 1.01 before all the NFL pre-draft evals start.

Who am I looking at?

Team needs a lot of offensive help.

The RB from ND? Love I believe is his last name? Ashton Jeanty light. He will probably be in play for the 1.01. Things will shake out better after the season and combine.

Congrats! I also just locked up the 1.01 in a SF dynasty league.

Probably depends on your league scoring and tendencies. If SF, usually a top tier QB would stand out for the 1.01 but I'm just not feeling it yet with this QB class. Jeremiyah Love stands out at this point if your league is RB heavy. I like the longevity of WR's more if you're looking at a longer build or getting more useful life out of your picks. Top 3 guys there are Jordyn Tyson, Makai Lemon, and Carnell Tate depending on who's evaluating and the day of the week.

Personally, I'm hoping someone else in my league falls in love with someone and is willing to trade a couple of firsts to move up to 1.01, preferably with at least one being in 2027 where the prospects seem better at this point. In any case, I would hold the 1.01 right up until the draft because the value should increase as the hype machine builds these guys up in the next draft cycle.

Depends on format, obviously. Mendoza is making a play for 1.01 in superflex formats. Dude is 6'5" 225lb. He's not ultra mobile, but isn't a statue either.
He also seems like a goofball. After the Big 10 Championship the first thing Cignetti mentioned about him is how inconsistent he is until it's clutch time (then he's more reliable).

It's going to be RB J. Love. He'll get drafted in the first 20 picks of the NFL draft. Excellent RB with receiving skills.

J. Tyson is likely WR1 in this draft going in the top 10-15 picks.

QB - Mendoza looks good. His comp is prime Kirk Cousins, which sounds fair to me. I like Dante Moore more. Dante feels like a less talented Caleb Williams. Highest potential in the draft, but struggles to do the little things right at times.

Jeremiyah Love RB/Notre Dame is likely the 1.01 in any format. Draft destination matters, as those who drafted Ashton Jeanty will confirm, but in terms of Dynasty, Love is pretty much locked in as the top rookie.

This QB class is not especially deep or exciting. Fernando Mendoza (Indiana) is an early first rounder in Superflex Leagues. Other candidates for QB1, Dante Moore (Oregon) and Ty Simpson (Alabama), may opt to go back to school. I agree with @Max Power above that Dante Moore is the most intriguing QB prospect if he declares for the Draft.

This WR class is headlined by Jordyn Tyson (Arizona State), Makai Lemon (USC), and Carnell Lake (Ohio State). They are all Dynasty Round One Rookies, but probably not in play for the overall 1.01 in most formats.

The top TE is Kenyon Sadiq (Oregon). Even in TE Premium Leagues, however, he is not in play for the 1.01.

Spot on!

Forgot to mention, overall a weak class. I'm sure there will be some risers and fallers during the rookie watch season, but I'm struggling to get more than 6 legit 1st round talents from this fantasy draft.
I'll probably be the first playoff out in a standard 12 team 1-QB league. 1.07 looks rough in non SF. Love, Tyson, Lemon, Tate are the early big 4.

Hoping NFL scouts didn't sour on Singleton and he get a prime landing spot.

I also need to do some homework on Brazzell who seems to be rising up some boards.

Sadiq at 1.07 might be early, but its a good swing for the fences pick.

KC Concepcion is another question mark at WR. He's small 5'11/190, but has proven his toughness at NC State and again at Texas with relatively poor QB play at both schools. I suspect he'll move up the boards a good bit after combine and assuming he lands in a favorable location. My current projections have him in the ~20th pick range.

1.01 will be RB Love

I have 1.01 and am going to trade down.

For me, if I could trade to 1.03, get a 2nd round pick and draft one of the two top WRs, that's my goal. Otherwise, I'd like to trade 1.01 for a lower first plus next year's first. Then trade that lower first for next year's first.

Shhhh!!! I love this kids game. No chance he drops out of a Rd 1 dynasty pick imo. Kid can ball.

6 seems like the magic number right now in non-SF, non-TEP, though as you said there will be risers and fallers and I doubt this number holds.

I'm not a big mock draft guy for determining value but it's maybe the best idea we have right now to get a gauge the class and in the last few weeks I've seen 3 of them by fairly to highly credible people. Brugler, Field and Matt Miller.

Brugler and Miller had 6 WR's in their first round of which 5 were the same. Field had just 5 WR's in his mock, which were the same common 5 in Brugler and Millers mock. So right now it sure looks like Love and those 5 WR's as worthy looking first round dynasty candidates. Those 5 WR's are Tyson, Tate, Lemon, Boston and Bell with Tyson being in all 3 of their top 10 picks but Tate actually coming in as WR1 for Brugler and Field.

I feel right now those first round picks in last quarter of a 12 team league really needs some other viable RB's to emerge. Does not matter if you want or need a RB, scarcity could drive them up, need them to at least help push some of the WR talent back.

Yeah might be one of the worst classes in awhile. 1.01 could be pretty great though if Love measures/tests well and gets a good draft spot.
