Dynasty Rookie drafts.... (1 Viewer)

Was wondering if anyone has had a rookie draft for a Dynasty league lately, and what the draft looks like from the 12 spot.

as the WR class seems to be slim at best for immediate impact, have people been going RB or IDP positions?

The 12 spot should be the #1 or #2 LB, #2 QB, #2 or #3 WR. I agree with you in that the WR class makes me want to look else where in that zone.

 Good stuff.....looks about what I was expecting. With all the uncertainty @ WR....rounds 3 and 4 seems like a place to take a chance on them, just can't see myself going for one earlier than 2nd rd. at most.

Why would we ever be looking for immediate impact in a rookie WR? That just doesn't happen.
yeah, I know WR's usually come into their own in their 3rd year. But what I meant was there is not 1 that seems to be the definite guy to do so with high possibilty. I like Hardy and Sweed, but even then...still too many questions about this years WR class.

Actually, I think the second year tells us a lot more. They usually 'break out' in the third year, but they generally have to show something in the second year, or else it just isn't going to happen.I wish I remember where that study was. It was a good one.

Aside from having to deal with the rookie learning curve....there wasn't really any great situations for the top prospects to go anyways. This could be the year of IDP players in a Dynasty w/ IDP, and the depth of the RB's available is quite intriguing too.All in all, i'm just pumped for another season and hopefully, whoever I end up drafting.....turns out to be sweet! :goodposting:
