My next pick is 3.05 so a while to go....any thoughts on who I should target?
Just my opinion, with the team you have you could have drafted ME! I think that Davis is a very nice dynasty pick at that spot and should have a solid, if not spectacular, career. :sadbanana:

Thank you....any suggestions for 3.5....I am not sure what the rookie/FA ADPs are for dynasty drafts. I do have some players that I am targetting....hoping they are there at 3.5.....keeping fingers crossed.

Until I know what FA's may be available I really couldn't give you any credible help. Let me know when it gets close and i will give you all of my 2 cents.

All other rookies other than those listed above in my 1st post .....

Not to be nitpicky but Aaron Rodgers plays for the Pack. Unless you can hold on to Kellen Clemens for a couple of years, you would probably have to gamble on Boston or Booker. Judging by that talent, you can still draft ME! :goodposting:P.S. Maybe Tony Hunt. Priest is currently receiving the last rites on his career.

Yeah I am just holding onto Priest until the regular season gets going. If it seems like he is going to be useless, I will dump him for some DEF or back up TE with potential etc

Yeah I know Rodgers plays for the Pack....typo. Being a Bears fan, that may be tough :goodposting:

I love my team for the next 2 years but would love to get the young depth that can blossom while my current team kicks some ###. That way I can continue to dominate this league :)

I was a little surprised to see Mike Bush and Chris Henry go this early....same with Dwayne Jarrett. I would rather have Craig Davis than any WR except for Calvin Johnson taken before him, but that is maybe just my opinion. He is in a situation with great O weapons to give him 1:1 coverage and he is on a team with no real WRs to speak of (even VJax is really unproven), and his talent is there based on reports from every day of the training camp. Figured this would be safe depth that has great potential thanks to talent + opportunity.

This could be really reaching but I have heard a lot of positives around Ahmad Bradshaw, RB Giants. He seems to be a solid back if he gets the opportunity. It all depends on if you think that Jacobs is the real deal and if he will stay healthy. Of course, right now, he is 4th on the depth chart.

If this is all you have to choose from,I may take a chance on a rookie with your 3.5 pick.Aaron Rodgers wouldbe an option if you're stoked. Also, Drew Stanton may slip to the bottom of your draft.

I have all 3 - Aaron Rodgers, James Jones WR/Packers & Eric Johnson TE/Aints in mind for 3.05

I updated the draft tracker in 1st post for reference.....

Ok folks I am on the clock for 3.05....draft has been updated in 1st post & notable players still on board are:

FA WRs:

David Boston

Marty Booker

Rod Smith

Eric Parker

Antonio Bryant

Terrance Copper

David Givens

Koren Robinson

FA RBs (obviously the cupboard is barren here....rookie RBs have muchy more value that this below ):

Ricky Williams RB

Corey Dillon RB

FA QBs:

Kellen Clemens QB Jets

Aaron Rodgers QB Jets

FA TEs:

Eric Johnson Saints

Ben Troupe Titans

Rookie WRs:

James Jones Packers

Laurent Robinson Falcons

Mike Walker Jacksonville

Roy Hall Colts

Rookie QBs:

Drew Stanton

John Beck

Thoughts?

Any other rookie RBs available ?
Ahmad Bradshaw/GiantsAntonio Pittman/SaintsGarrett Wolfe/BearsKolby Smith/ChiefsJason Snelling/Falcons& a few no namers....I was thinking of taking a chance with Kenny Irons but he got snagged a couple of picks before mine.....James Jones WR Packers seems to be the best choice out there right now.....or Mike Walker from JaxMike might be in a better situation in terms of not having a lot of WRs to compete with .....

I'm blown away Antonio Pittman is still available. He is being overlooked in many leagues and offers tremendous value. It is my opinion Duece McAllister will begin to decline this year and Pittman will take over for him sooner then later and will team with Reggie Bush as "thunder and lightening". Pittman played on a dominant team in a top tier conference.

Guy was a beast....check it out. Youtube

James Jones. He's been turning heads all summer, and led the team in receptions in their first preseason game, so he's not just a practice player.

If Donald Driver goes down, he could be a hot commodity.

I like him as well.Pittman

Stanton

Walker

JJones

Sorry I got busy with work

But I did pick James Jones, Packers WR

I like my WR core now a lot.....right mix of reliable vets (Harrison, Darrell Jackson), solid consistent vets (Toomer, Kennison), youth that has turned heads all preseason (Craig Davis, James Jones) and a player who has major off field issues to over come, but if he ever gets that right, he has the most talent on his team and playing with one of the best QBs in the league (Chris Henry)

:goodposting:

I have 2 more picks to make....everyone could drop between 3 to 6 players....I dropped 4 and I did not have my 2nd rounder (had used it to get LT2 & Portis in offseason).

So, now my next pick is at 4.5 but I doubt there are 4 picks before me in 4th round since everyone did not drop more than 3 players I think.....we will see. I will update once I make my 4th round pick

Thanks all :goodposting:

1.10 Craig Davis1.11 Ted Ginn JR1.12 Anthony Gonzalez/Colts Rookie WR
Since you already have Harrison it's difficult to understand why you passed on Gonzalez. Davis is a fine pick, but I think Gonzalez is both on a better passing offense and a better fit for your team.

Harrison should play for at least next 3 years. Craig Davis will start from this year and will definitely get the nod over Eric Parker even after he returns. Why should I get a Wr3 on a team? Yeah Stokeley lit up the scoreboard but that was an exception year, not the rule. What did the Colts WR3 do in other years?

Also, while both are unproven, Craig Davis has shown more in the preseason and training camp than Anthony Gonzalez has. Craig Davis's ceiling is WR1 on a team with a bonafide stud O (thanks to LT2 & Gates) where defenses will not game plan for him (see Gates & LT2 again). Anthony Gonzalez's ceiling is WR2....agreed with a great QB but he will not be a WR2 for at least 3 more years on his team, barring injury to Harrison and/or Wayne.
