If I am not mistaken though Siler was projected as a 3rd or 4th rounder and slid very late. I'm not sure how high he ranked in the eyes of the Chargers organization though.I think Everette Brown DE for Carolina was finally coming on when he hurt his hand, he has good potential and little competition.
Lawrence Jackson is playing well for DET and is a former 1st rounder.
The SD LB'er situation is so muddy with so many guys playing and the rookie that got hurt and never even had a chance to play yet, will be interesting to see how it turns out, Siler was a very late pick 6th or 7th round I think, so will be surprising to see if he wins a big spot on the D. Generally they give higher ranked guys more chances to win a job, or so it seems to me.
Courtney Greene and Amari Spievey both have been good FF contributors if they win/keep those SS spots both could be good next year.
I am hoping O'Brien Schofield DE/LB gets a good chance in Zona to play, i think next year he will be fully recovered from his ACL tear (He is already playing some) and he should be an awesome pass rusher.
I am also curious about Phillip Dillard who got hurt early and really never had a chance to play this year, like to see him get a chance in the middle for the GMen.
Also Arthur Moats of the Bills, not much competition there either and is getting a chance now to show if he can play, kid also has an endless motor and hustles.
2 acl tears later? i'm not so sure. he's a definite buy low and worth a flyer...Thomas Davis
Chaney actually played 1/3 of his college games at WLB, so don't be surprised if he moves there along side of Bradley for 2011.I'd have to check contract info but I think that'd be the best plan in PHI for next year.I have a feeling this last 3 games may be an audition for Jamar Chaney to play MLB for Philly next year...Brandon Siler is one I am carrying in a lot of places too
Adding to this you haveSean Weatherspoon(played really well till injury)Derrick MorganDonald Butler(was looking like starter until injury in pre-season)Morgan Burnett(another injured guy)Connor Barwin(great spot if he can only stay healhty)Sean LeeCarlos DunlapGreg HardyDaryl WashingtonRolando McclainTaylor Mayssome rookies that could break out next year
Drafted by the Parcells regime to be their ILB tackling machine. Looks pretty talented, but unfortunately got IR'd with a knee injury in training camp. He figured to slowly transition in and replace Crowder this season, who's become an absolute stiff after being only a partial stiff. He also looks like he could be a three-down LB. If your league rewards guys with lots of tackles, then this is a good prospect.Tell me more about Edds?
i just grabbed him off my WW. he has been productive and coming on strong with the playing time over the last few weeks. gailey has said he's really improved and making the most of his opportunity. i'm holding to see if he has value going into next season. if they grab someone in the draft then i'll know more.Tell me more about Edds? LB Arthur Moats BUF is someone to consider, thoughts?
