Initial Dynasty draft starting Saturday.Yes, I had the 1.4, possibly Reggie Bush, more likely to be LJ. I traded it away in the following deal.1.42008 2nd round rookie2009 2nd round rookieFOR2.62008 1st round rookie2008 1st round rookie2009 1st round rookie This is to the guy who also has the 1.1. Of note, none of these picks that I received are his, meaning even if he wins it all next year, it won't affect these rookie picks.Some will say thats alot to give, others say its about right. The beauty of Dynasty is that value is different for everybody. It might work, it might not, but I'll take the picks and a Mcgahee type back at 20 and feel pretty good.

Kinda what I thought but several on the board were ticked that he now has 2 of the top 4. Yes, i would have liked Reggie, but it was looking more and more like a chance that Reggie goes #3, so I moved it.

1.04 to 2.06 isn't that big of a drop in dynasty. You'll be able to get an elite player at 2.06. And three 1st round picks >>> two 2nd round picks. Looks like you're getting an early head start.

I really like the trade if he can get Alexander at 2.06. That would give him a chance to win this year and still have all the picks to reload and get younger next year.

I Traded away my 2008 1st to get into the md 1st round of this yrs "rookie" draft. It took me 2 trades to do it.

14 team intial Dynasty

We did 15 non-rookie rounds; will do the last 18 rounds shortly after the real NFL Draft.

So the 16th round is really a rookie draft and the rest of the vets that weren't picked.

I recently made 2 trades w/ 2 different teams, heres the results

I gave 1st 2008 / 17.12(2nd rd) / 19.03(4th) / 19.12(4th) / 22.12(7th)

For 16.08(1st) / 18.08(3rd) / 3rd 2008 / 20.08(5th) / 21.07(6th)

I like this thread. Lets try to keep it on track by talking about trade strategy instead of specific deals though. If your going to talk about a specific deal as an example at least do so for a reason so everyone else can learn somthing by it.

Never accept the 1st offer.. always counter.. they will always give a little more than what they 1st offer..
