OK trying not to make this so much of a should i trade post...

Thinking Dynasty values long term.

Obviously a guy like Cedric Benson doesn't have a ton of long term value considering his age...

what do you guys think of Helu's long term value?

I've got an offer on the table of Helu and a 2nd round pick (would most likely fall around 21-24)

I won't go more into it because the point isn't more my trade but Helu's long term dynasty value. thoughts?

going to have to sweeten that pot a lot I'd guess. Helu is a huge question mark now, his odds of ever putting together a top 20 season seem low. Benson on the other hand is staring one in the face right now.

I'm more interested in what people think of Helu's long term value - if you guys think he's not going to amount to much I may pull the trigger. I still have some faith that the dude has some talent...but it's not like WR where you really can't judge them for 3 years. Running backs you gotta see something from them pretty quickly IMO. Thing is...I thought we did last year. He had 3 100 yard games, and looked explosive as hell. I wonder if the injury is what kept him back this year and a year of rest might get him back to explosiveness next year.

Honestly, I don't like Helu's value in dynasty at all. I don't think he's all that talented - and now he appears to have some injury issues. On top of all that, he's playing in a Shanny backfield (at least for now) - which means you have to rister about 12 RBs to hi the one Shanny likes. I wouldn't trade diddly for him.

it's called giving context of why I am asking about Helu - the benson thing is irrelevant really. i shouldn't really have put him in the title.helu is the one i'm curious about for value. i agree his being hurt puts a damper but again, maybe that injury is the only reason he ISN'T back being the dominant back this year. heck, it's not like something new happened to him and they put him on IR.
