Went Edwards, but I don't feel entirely comfortable about it... just think he'll bounce back and be elite again next season.

Same here.I think we just completed a tier. This is the next one, where any of Bowe, Braylon, Welker, Royal, or even Holmes (although he's at the bottom of the tier) would be a decent choice IMO. I just couldn't justify ocho stinko or Housh here. Crabtree maybe, but there's too many busts to justify him over the guys who are still young and have produced well already.

Just my opinion, the tiers so far:

1. Larry Fitzgerald 8/31/83 65% (Cal. Johnson, 23%)

2. Calvin Johnson 9/25/85 60% (A. Johnson, 30%)

3. Andre Johnson 7/11/81 73% (Marshall, 12%)

9. Randy Moss 2/13/77 30% (Wayne, 29%)

10. Reggie Wayne 11/17/78 45% (Boldin, 28%)

11. Anquan Boldin 10/3/80 52% (Bowe, 23%)

We're now on "tier D" IMO.

I think 5-11 is still a matter of preferance. I think you got the first tier right, but I would at least add Jennings to 6-11 for Tier C. Marshall seems to be the majority preferance at #4, but I think a ton of people are divided on #5. I would agree that value wise, another tier would start at #12. Good observation :goodposting:

I would take about all of them before Edwards after being stuck watching that Browns offense last half of year. Keep in mind Edwards won't have many, if any prime time games this year after that offense was so terrible second half last year. He only produced prime time.

I think Bowe is best talent up there. Royal a one year wonder? Almost ready to fit Crabtree in but like all rookies it's a mystery what offense he will be in. Most likly a bad one with a top pick. haha

Heck with it. I went with Holmes after that super bowl performance. Just hop[e he can stay off the weed.

This is a really tough decision, and I agree with others that this is the start of a new tier. Please add Evans for future rounds.

Bowe made the secondary look pedestrian when the ball was in the air. If the KC QB Carousal had not been so bad that it made Thigpen look good, Bowe might have seen better looks/passes/numbers!

While I am a big fan of Holmes, I don't see him climbing too high for a while. Talent will win out, but situation helps you get there faster!!

I went Welker. The guy is money in the bank every week. He is so consistant, he makes a leaky faucet look unreliable. Sure, there are WR's here that will give you that big blow-up week, but Welker's steadiness makes him rise above on my list. Now, if he didn't have Brady or Cassel throwing to him, I would reconsider, but that is not the case.

really? because cassel has proven to be the guy who makes Wes look good, not the other way?

Welker needs to start scoring TDs before I can even think about putting him in my top 15. 3 TDs last year on 111 catches is pretty bad. 223 catches the last 2 years and only 11 TDs.I've got Bowe, Holmes and Edwards clearly ahead of Welker right now.

You've gotta keep in mind this is PPR scoring. Welker gets a TD+ in catches every week.

I never said one makes the other look good... Brady and Cassel are both QB's that know how to check down. I don't think Welker is the primary reciever for a majority of plays he ends with a catch. When Moss gets doubled, Welker always seems to be there if a QB makes good reads and goes through his progressions. WR is one of the most inconsistant FF scoring skill positions. Welker will always get some points, and never disappears. I value that consistancy more than most. You can start a Steve Smith, a Brandon Marshall and a Bowe in a given week and get near nothing. Welker will always get you that 7 point minimum (0.5PPR) that some of the big play guys won't in a given week. No, he won't blow up with 2 TD's, but 6 catches for 80 yards... or more...that is what he brings.

I'll take Welker as my #2 WR all year long... and live with he inconsistancy so many of the studs have.

Welker easily in a ppr. Last two years only 5 WRs have outscored him in this format. Not to mention he's one of the most consistant WRs on the planet. You know he's going to get 6-8 receptions every game.

I like Dwayne Bowe's talent and age combo a lot better than some of the other guys already taken. I think he's a steal here and will only get better in terms of production.
