This season, in PPR, Welker's going to outscore at least 4 or 5 of the guys ahead of him on this list.

Short term production has to figure into the dynasty equation at some point.

I think that is now.

Went with Welker.

Royal again. I think hes going to be a younger, faster version of Welker in that offense

If I could get Welker as the 14th WR off the board in a initial dynasty draft I'd be pretty stoked.

Went with Santonio. #1 WR on a Great team. Watching him in the Super Bowl (NO not just because he had the winning catch) he proved to me he is a great WR. I watched him play in College in my home town. Superstar. Next year is his bounce back year.

AND especially if Braylon "Stone hands" Edwards gets ranked before him, You may want to watch Santonio's last catch in the superbowl. Santonio>Braylon

OSU>Michigan

PPR, Welker is money. Heck, Edwards should have fallen farther, IMO.

I like Royal more as a talent and see more upside, but a lower floor in PPR. Royal may get more catches, but I can see the case being made for fewer catches.

You know what Welker is getting you.

He's right, OSU > Michigan, especially lately.
On that part, sure. I have never seen anyone else actually rank Santonio above Braylon, I highly doubt he's ever been drafted ahead of him in a dynasty PPR draft. I like Holmes a lot, but PPR hurts his value.

Its interesting to me that Braylon is ranked pretty much right where we ranked Roy Williams last year (#12), and they've followed an eerily similar career track.

Roy....

I'm not saying that Braylon's due to put up a sub-500 yard season in '09, but its an interesting comparison.

It's surprising to me that people consider Holmes the #1 in Pittsburgh. How many people would have said that before the Super Bowl?
While this is true, how many people would have said he was going to dominate DRC like that? That game speaks to his talent realtive to one of the better CBs in the league. Even if he is not number one now, he has the talent to be at some point in the near future.

Most of us that knew he was or was at least going to be...
Holmes in 2008: 55 catches, 821 yds, 5 TDsHines Ward in 2008: 81 catches, 1043 yds, 7 TDsHolmes actually regressed stat-wise in 2008 vs 2007.
Yes, but we still knew it's just a matter of time. It now looks like it's 2009 instead of 2010. But, to be frank, Santonio will probably be overvalued in redrafts.
