Who am I?

What is everyone's thoughts about Graham?

Is Caddy "done" for at least this year?

Will Graham be the man with Dunn and Bennett taking carries here and there?

I think he is a solid #2, especially in PPR leagues. He had 40 receptions in only 10 games started.

I was just about to start a topic about this.I think Caddy is a bigger threat than Bennett or Dunn are. That should tell you what I think of Bennett/Dunn.I was surprised they didn't take a RB in the 1st 3 rounds. Maybe Caddy is closer to being ready than most think? For this year I think Graham will be a solid RB2 like you said(PPR or not) after this year, who knows.I'd say top-15 redraft and top-25 dynasty.

I think an important factor that you guys are overlooking is that the bucs drafted cory boyd. Boyd is a much bigger threat than either dunn or bennett. Even if caddy goes down, I see graham as more of a #3rb-borderline #2. Boyd won't do a whole lot himself but it'll be enough to hurt graham's value a bit

As a Grahm owner I went oh crap when Gruden drafted Boyd. Dangerous situation for Myself and other Grahm/Caddy owners.

boyd sounds like Graham 2.0 to me. runs hard but not elusive or breakaway speed. meh.

i think caddy is largely out of the picture now. dunn is a clear 3rd down back. bennett is insurance.

Graham and Dunn are RBBC this year. Cadillac gets worked back into the rotation if and when he is healthy. Boyd is battling for the last roster spot as depth and has no value unless Graham or Dunn gets injured.

Graham is a very solid RB#2 who can score TD's when he is given the ball inside the 10. He cannot create much when the passing game takes a dump like the NYG playoff game.

I really hope that Dunn does not steal TD looks this year...which he might.

Plus, who knows when Caddy will be back and Gruden loves this guy, so that will diminish Graham's touches.

I disagree. Gruden absolutely loves Graham. I think Dunn is the primary backup, who will come in here and there to keep Graham fresh. Graham is one of those backs that gets better as the game goes and I think Gruden knows it. I don't see this as a rbbc situation at all. Bennett is there in case someone gets hurt. Graham is a great story and Gruden loves him. I think he has a chance to be a really solid rb2 in 2008

Lets throw this out there.

Would you rather have Graham or any of the following as a #3 RB in a PPR league??

T. Jones

Rudi

Henry

with the draft over, i feel that only 7th round flyer expended on a RB is a vote of confidence for graham.

Jones stands out, i think. they upgraded the NYJ o-line, right? graham has the threat of caddy hanging over him, even if that threat is remote.

I'd rather have T Jones now that the Jets drafted no one else to take away his carries. The line should be better, he has a blocker in Tony Richardson. Disclaimer: I own T Jones, but even if I didn't I'd say T Jones.

In response to your alias, I'm guessing you're a guy who dumps Assistant Coach questions into the Shark Pool.I'd take Rudi. Nothing sexy, flashy or explosive but he's likely to be fairly solid.

He loves him so much that it took him 5 years and a couple of injuries to give him some real playing time. :goodposting: I think Dunn gets 30% of the touches to Graham's 70%. I'll let you decide if that's RBBC or a starter/backup scenario but we may be saying something similar with their playing time. Gruden loves his veterans too. My main point was that Boyd isn't in the mix as anything more than the last RB on the roster if he makes the team. Bennett is irrelevant to the team and the league in general, in my opinion. :)

Not in a PPR league

This is something i think we can all agree on. The first couple posts had me  as some were actually acting like Boyd is a real threat for touches, which he's not. His odds aren't even very good to make the final roster.

What about the possibility of a free agent veteran like Kevin Jones or Shaun Alexander? You guys think there's a possibility of anything happening there? FWIW, Graham is unhappy with his contract and held out of a recent mini-camp.

Held out of a mini camp or a voluntary work out?

By signing Dunn instead of drafting an early rookie, it both gives Caddy a chance to recover and Graham a chance to try to run with the job. They bought a year of time so that they wont be too crowded in the backfield come 2009. If Caddy's career proves to be over and Graham isnt the answer, Tampa can bring in a more permanent player next year. Jones might have been an option if they hadnt signed Dunn. They arent going to sign another expensive veteran.
