**Eagles at Buccaneers** (+1. 42.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Another fumble. Nearly. What is with this guy?
He’s got Dotson, Parris Campbell and rookie Johnny Wilson to throw to. They’re basically running out marginally better than me out there

So he has WRs drafted in the 1st and 2nd rounds, another in the 6th and a TE picked in the 1st. Plus the best dual threat RB in football.

Poor guy.
Godert wasnt a first round pick.

My bust. 2nd

If the Eagles do what everyone in the world believes they should in this moment with Devonta Smith and AJ Brown both out - run run and then run the ball some more. There is no reason for them to not give the ball to Barkley 30+ times in this game. Tampa has a lot of injuries too so this just might be a sloppy "whoever has it last win" sort of game with what I'm guessing are going to be pretty bad field conditions to go along with the attrition both teams are going through right now.

Eagles 27
Bucs 24

Jalen Hurts and Barkley will the team to victory.
The Eagles are never ever going to have a run-centric offense ever again. Even if they know its the best/only method to win certain games in certain situations. Saquon Barkley. I remember the announcer stating distinctly around 6:30 left in the 2nd Quarter "And that is just Barkley's 3rd carry so far"

What a f****** joke. These guys are not interested in winning.

The Bucs knew this too and the sledding is going to be tougher when they don’t have to respect the pass. The Eagles went 3 and out twice. Then muffed the punt. They were down 21 before they knew what hit them.

I’d be more worried about the turnover prone QB/coach relationship.

There are quite a few concerns. Turnovers and lack of pass rush are at the top of the list though. Letting the Bucs score at will was not fun to watch, knowing that their run game is kinda trash too.

It was all quick read short stuff early and some shoddy tackling.

We had our head scratcher game last week. Just flush it.

I don’t know what the Eagles could have done differently schematically. Baker started red hot. Got them down and Hell fire conditions finished them off.

Not worried about the Eagles offense. They were missing 3 ProBowl players. This is a totally different game with AJ, Devonta and Lane.

The defense...

It's funny how not watching the game has me less angry at the results. I know if I would have sat through the whole thing, I'd still be pissed but writing this off before it started, I'm almost apathetic to it.

I look at the stats where Saquon got 12 touches and still got over hundred total yards and think "I should be more angry about that." But the dissonance of not having seen or loved through it despite knowing that would probably happen makes it less painful.

Either way I'm glad its a bye week.
