**Eagles at Chiefs**(+1.5, 47) 4:25 (2 Viewers)

I'm really surprised how low this spread is. Unless Mahomes has a perfect game, I think Philly wins pretty comfortably. I do think KC spent all week trying to come up with ways to get guys matched up 1-1 with Adoree Jackson, though none of those guys are CeeDee Lamb, so not confident the same effect will happen. I don't see KC being able to run on most teams this year, but especially not Philly, especially not with Carter back.

I was really blown away by KCs pass defense last week, or should I say lack thereof? Almost no pressure, and guys just wide open. I expect the Eagles to be a little more pass heavy to attack that this week. Shame Goedert got hurt, this would have been a huge week for him. I don't KC sits back and lets Hurts just run whenever he wants this week, they'll make him make some throws, not sure that will be more successful for them, but it will look different than what Dallas did.

I don’t think PHI defense is close to where it was last year (I understand they were without Carter last week and he makes a difference). I think KC pulls the mild upset. I think they find a way to get the running game going and the defense does enough to keep them in the game to allow Mahomes to do his thing near the end. Chiefs by a last second FG. I will add that I think Chris Jones is going to be playing extremely motivated after he blamed himself for the last play of the Charger game. Chiefs find a way, like they have so many times in the past.

Thinking more about the matchups here and I just think once again, it’s just gonna boil down to the trenches. I think the Eagles are better OL v KC DL, and that’s obviously thinking either way Chris Jones in mind, but I think the matchup of Eagles DL v Chiefs OL is an even bigger disparity. A lot of focus will be on Carter so I’d expect a sprinkling of Ojomo, Nolan and maybe new signing Zadarius Smith gets some action - and they are buzzing around Mahomes a lot this game.

Also think Jihaad Campbell as a sort of breakout game - maybe a big turnover or sack in an important moment.

sleeping on it I’m feeling more this game isn’t as close as I originally predicted but let’s see!

I appreciate your honesty here. Thank-you. I believe the score will be closer than the actual game but, I do not believe it will be a true blow-out like SB59. You sell your Chiefs a bit short.
