**Eagles at Cowboys**(+7.5, 43.5) 4:25 (1 Viewer)

Hopefully they can pivot from this being the national late game. This isn't gonna be the showdown the schedule makers were hoping for, and that was probably the case even with Dak.

I think the Eagles who are getting only their 2nd game of the year with all of AJ/Smith/Goedert healthy, come out firing. People talk about the Dallas run D, but the pass D is even worse. I don't think they can match up with any of that trio or Barkley out of the backfield. This feels like a game where the Eagles just make a statement. I really like Jalen Hurts this week, like potentially outscoring what Lamar/Burrow did on Thursday. I do think Lamb gets enough to still be a solid start, but nobody else in Dallas interests me much.

I'll say Eagles win 34-13.

Birds haven’t won in Dallas since their SB year in ‘17. Hard to pick them to win in big D until they show they can win in Big D. That being said these are two team heading in deferent directions. Even before Dak went out, the cowboys were trending the wrong way. The eagles since the bye have improved across the board.

It feels like we never play these games with both teams at full strength and this week is no different with Cooper Rush at the helm for Dallas. I think our defense continues to roll (haven’t allowed more than 17 points since the bye week) and we jump out to an early lead (Eagles lead the league in explosive plays) and grind out the second half with ball control and run heavy offense - the recipe we enjoyed in ‘22. I think it’s possible that they run the backups RBs more since we have a big game four days later against Washington.

My only real concern is that these guys may be looking ahead to Washington and this becoming a trap game. That being said, if we play our game we win.

Eagles: 35-17

I was at that game in 2017, has some special meaning for me, 1st NFL game I got to see with my son.
Wentz carved up Dallas pretty good as I recall

Yep it was a good ole fashioned *** whuppin. Birds won 37-9

Again Eagles should stomp but will make a few untimely mistakes that keep it close.

Eagles 29
Cowboys 25

DAL is in shambles and PHI is playing well.....but Division Games are usually closer than they should be; and often don't turn out the way the "script" is saying they should.

PHI 24 DAL 16...much closer than the score indicates.

That play calling was horrid

All the start of the game scripted stuff has been terrible all season. Dallas is absolutely dreadful at run D and the Eagles run, run, pass (Hurts then scrambles), pass (penalty), pass (sack), pass (sack), run (basically giving up the drive).

I’m surprised Dallas let that go. Looks like Rush dropped on it. It was ripped away from him, but when does he have possession because the Eagle defender was already touching him?

for once, I'm cheering for Dallas. I expect them to lose of course, but it would be nice if they could pull the upset.

too early, but feels like Dallas is playing desperate. Likely to be closer/tougher then previous stats would suggest

if he had it it wasn't for more then a split second. Didnt seem to me he really had it, but my glasses may be tinted

Yeah I’m no Cowboys fan but not a single person mentioned it. Even a split second, he was there first.

Feels symptomatic of Dallas this year - just roll over even if you should at least put up a fight.

to be fair though, turnovers are automatically reviewed, there is no way to fight it

Game is closer than it feels like it should be. PHI can't let DAL hang around like this.
 It's BARELY into the 2nd quarter!

Just feels like Hurts isn't seeing the field as well as he should nor are the Eagles adjusting for this in the playcalling.

That's the Jalen Hurts experience. He's basically a glorified game manager. The more he throws it, the more turnovers he has. When they limit his throws, they control the game and he hits on a few big plays.
