it shouldn’t matter, if his hands kept the ball from hitting the ground and then he loses it but still catches it before it hits again then it should be a catch
no, he was going down as part of the catch, and the ball came loose BECAUSE it hit the ground. Ball can touch the ground but you have to KEEP complete control...he didn't. The last camera angle made it an easy call. I thought he caught it live but the got it right. A loose ball after the ball touches the ground is ALWAYS incomplete if you're going to the ground in the process

The ref in the booth said he had to survive his hands hitting the ground. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don’t know what the rules are anymore- need a team of lawyers arguing in front of the Supreme Court.

the ball absolutely touched the ground...hard...though
 
dangit...not getting a first running it up the gut like that. And there is too much time left to go 3 and out
