After the Eagles are victorious, this will be your signature for 1 week...starting Sunday night.
"The Philadelphia Eagles still are the best team in the NFC East, and as a Cowboy fan I appreciate how well they play football. I only wish we had a great quarterback like Donovan McNabb and the best fans in the NFL like the Eagles do."
Someone in for the Cowboys can come up with a sig for me and other Eagles fans should the Cowboys win.
Who wants in?
Got 5?!?--as in 5 Championships? How many Super Bowl appearances? Yeah, yeah, but what about recently right? It's not difficult to see who's on the down and who's on the up--I hope you're looking forward to Cowboy hating the next 5 years because we're young, signed-on, and have multiple top picks to better ourselves over the next couple of years. Philly had its opportunity and your QB puked it away in its final minutes. Bra, I grew up in and have recently relocated back to Dallas so I get a break for being a homer. I will give you your comment on the Philly fans but only because Dallas' fans are more white collar and civilized, which is in itself not so much a compliment--historically we are the Yankees and y'all are the Red Sox.
Funny enough I will be at the game in Philly on Sunday for the 2nd year in a row, wearing Cowboy blue even after last year when I was forced to turn my gear inside-out by a police officer at the game--apparently for my own safety--though I relunctantly agreed after the about the 15th drunkard walked by and told me he was going to kick my a** and meant it. Y'all must watch lots of Rocky on a daily basis because at a Texas-sized cornbread-fed 6'5" and a lean 260 lbs I felt pretty confident I would pummel each and every one of the 5'7" and a hot-dog eating 180 pound jokes that attempted to roll on me. Unfortunately I realized I was outnumbered. This year I may just take the a** whoopin and collect a few teeth from Philly fans in the process as a souvenir--from the looks of the smiles up there, I wouldn't be the first.
McNabb?!? McNabb isn't even liked by his own team. The Philly organization is known league-wide as the stingiest ownership to field a team at the NFL level. Everyone locally told Jerry Jones to pay Romo before the season and save himself some money. Jerry's response was, "If Romo performs the way we all think he can, I'll have no problem paying him his market value. We (the Cowboys) have a well documented history of paying our players." We are an organization of class and dignity from the front offices to the fans--I can see why some people hate that, but it is what it is.
You've got the Liberty Bell, a few NFC East titles, one or two NFC Championships, maybe a Super Bowl (?)--did y'all win in '80? Other than that it's bad weather, worse personalities, and a hefty crime rate from all of the misery. Do yourself a favor...turn off the NFL for the next few years because regardless of what happens tonight your team is cycling out...
