EAGLES VS PANTHERS (1 Viewer)

Foles looks so ugly back there trying to improvise. The 3rd or 4th pass he has pretty much pushed out. I just haven't been impressed so far with his ability to adapt and teams seem to have a decent game plan against him.
4 more games and probably all next year with the new coach and we'll get a full book on him. Probably will be gone by 2014.
No chance he starts next year with new coach.May be lucky to be on the team.
They could get a guy like Matt Flynn cheap maybe but going to another late round rookie won't be good. foles is here and will be cheap. One year for the new coach to clean house cause theres a lot to clean.
I like Flynn. Obviously, I'm not sure many of us know what to expect but put him there with our weapons, our RB, and a healthy line with a coach trying to control the clock and our offense could be fairly good. I assume Seattle has to cut him or trade him for nothing. If they can bring in a defensive guy to whip them into shape, could be pretty close to a turnaround.
Not true. He isn't making huge money and unless Wilson gets a huge renegotiated contract for next year they will have less than the average amount of money tied into the QB position of all the teams. Flynn's there for at least another year unless they get good value for him. Plus you don't have to look far to see how valuable a good backup is.
From what I read, Flynn is making $5.25 million next year. That is a significant amount of money for a backup. I'm not familiar with the rest of the Sea Hawks roster needs/contract issues but putting $5.25 million in a backup is very rare to say the least.

Now if I had Carolina in a 33 league, I'd be pretty upset. Almost as upset as I would have been when I got the Panthers in the league to begin with.

I think it's more like 3 but I haven't thought about it since preseason. They're in good cap condition so unless that becomes an issue, even if it's 5M, paying a backup is way preferable to starting Charlie Batch.

I mean, is there any logical reason to NOT ####can Reid at this point?
No. I truly believe he's gone tomorrow. There's is not ONE plus to keeping him. We just lost to the worst team in the NFC, at home, on Monday night.
Juan Castillo for HC! Now there was a guy who was under-appreciated....
Yeah seriously is there any benefit to really see Marty or Bowles as interim, they are both brutal.

Lost by .55 on that last pass - I had a 49 point lead going into the night and would have taken the division lead :wall:

Schiano would order an attack here on the snap
Eagles need a HC with that type of attitude IMO.
John Harbaugh would have looked great in that job. Spags wasn't great in St. Louis and isn't the hit him in the mouth type but wonder if he'll get an interview.
Harbaugh would have been perfect, hopefully they hire a fiery type of HC. I don't think a laid back type of guy will be successful, especially since this team will probably be younger next year.

true about the Brown comments and yes.. if a team goes 50% on 3rd down, has a 1/3 more 1st downs, runs 17 more plays, and wins the turnover battle 3-0... you're most likely winning the game
