Earnest Graham... (1 Viewer)

Earnest Graham has been a pretty productive #2 if anyone was able to get him off waivers. He's been serviceable (especially in PPR leagues).

Any homers have any advice on him going forward. Bennett was in there spelling him a bit. Now with Pittman coming back, it's probably going to alter the Tampa running situation. I didn't think that Pittman was all that effective even before the injury.

Interested to hear what others think...

Graham gets most of the carries, Pittman will get some catches. Pittman has always been the third-down back anyway, so he will hurt Graham more than help himself.

He has always been the 3rd down back to Caddy. When Caddy went down Pittman started the game and was hurt soon after. Graham has done a nice job but I'm not so sure Gruden doesn't go back to starting the veteran.

really weird, i was seconds away from posting this after searching, leads me to believe OP is the guy i'm trade-talking with and i just dont know it, ryan?

haha, anyway i have graham and at this point, i'm just trying to pawn him off onto someone as part of a package deal, 2 - 1 and such, i think he is a good RB and i think he remains getting the majority of the carries over pittman, i just havent been able to convince anyone of it...

and quotes from HC or TB on the situation?

Bucs coach Jon Gruden says he hopes Michael Pittman can "supplement" the running game and starter Earnest Graham.

Gruden pointed out that Graham "is running really hot right now, and he's an excellent receiver." Pittman's biggest asset is his pass catching ability. Graham appears almost certain to keep his starting job and may only end up losing some third-down snaps to Pittman as long as he keeps playing well.

As a side note....

Bucs coach Jon Gruden says Jeff Garcia is battling a tired throwing arm.

Gruden says the Week 10 bye did Garcia well and didn't sound like the issue is serious. "Brad Johnson went through it," Gruden said. "All the veteran quarterbacks go through it." Garcia says he's "fine" and is expected to start against the Falcons in Week 11.

:lmao: ......maybe they run alittle more until his arm feels better.
