I did not see the game. I see he got a score but Dunn getting 22 carries. Did he get hurt or what ?
No. For whatever reason, Gruden stayed with Dunn...can't really blame him, Dunn was running well and it was working.I did not see the game. I see he got a score but Dunn getting 22 carries. Did he get hurt or what ?
Bucs 2nd string fullback was injured (BJ Askew, 1st string, was already out) -- so Earnest Graham is lining up at fullback right now with Warrick Dunn at tailback.
So thats why he took the handoff on the goal line from FB position. From the game thread

Talk about brownie pointsHere's the full story from ESPN: http://myespn.go.com/blogs/nflnation/0-2-2...y-for-Bucs.html
From a fantasy perspective, ugh.
Let's hope this does not carry over to next Sunday night. I will need him to carry the rock vs. the Hawks. Here's the full story from ESPN: http://myespn.go.com/blogs/nflnation/0-2-2...y-for-Bucs.html

Feeling good about packaging him with A.Bryant and trading them away for MJD before this weekend.Let's hope this does not carry over to next Sunday night. I will need him to carry the rock vs. the Hawks. Here's the full story from ESPN: http://myespn.go.com/blogs/nflnation/0-2-2...y-for-Bucs.html

Earnest Graham-RB- Buccaneers Oct. 13 - 12:22 am et Warrick Dunn called Earnest Graham playing fullback in Week 6 due to injuries "one of the most unselfish acts I’ve ever seen on a football field."Let's hope this does not carry over to next Sunday night. I will need him to carry the rock vs. the Hawks. Here's the full story from ESPN: http://myespn.go.com/blogs/nflnation/0-2-2...y-for-Bucs.html

and I was one of them! but at least the TB RB situation bears more fruit than the Denver situation!Dunn is a solid play week-to-week..So much for people saying "Dunn was done" before the season.
I was too, and for some reason, in my short roster league, he was on the WW until I snatched him this week.I think we need to revisit the 'old RB' theory. Conventional wisdom tells us to stay away from 30+ year old RBs. I don't think that's true. I think the theory should be revised to state that you shouldn't expect top 10 production out of them--but they can surprise you and turn into good value late in the draft.and I was one of them!So much for people saying "Dunn was done" before the season.
Good luck... To me Graham is no longer then a fill in until they find their RB probably sooner then later .Feeling good about packaging him with A.Bryant and trading them away for MJD before this weekend.Let's hope this does not carry over to next Sunday night. "This guy sacrificed his day to get in the there and block and he did a great job," Dunn said. "He was reading it the right way, putting hits on guys. He’s the ultimate team guy." The effort was impressive, but probably won't continue next week. The Bucs may have to sign a Darian Barnes type off the street.

That means something coming from Warrick Dunn.BustedKnuckles said:Earnest Graham-RB- Buccaneers Oct. 13 - 12:22 am et Warrick Dunn called Earnest Graham playing fullback in Week 6 due to injuries "one of the most unselfish acts I’ve ever seen on a football field.""This guy sacrificed his day to get in the there and block and he did a great job," Dunn said. Depending on your league I'm not so sure if Dunn is a solid start every week. I could easily see Graham going off again next week if he doesn't have to play FB. It's a full out RBBC in Tampa, and that's not a good thing for fantasy owners. If Graham is required to play FB for a little while than Dunn may be a good start. As a Bucs fan it''s nice knowing you have two capable backs, but I actually think they should use Graham more at times. I'm not going to complain though as long as we are winningTanner9919 said:and I was one of them! but at least the TB RB situation bears more fruit than the Denver situation!Dunn is a solid play week-to-week..QUEZILLA said:So much for people saying "Dunn was done" before the season.
I said in the preseason that Dunn and Bennett would eat into Graham's value, but few believed me Bennett got his first carries this weekend... Caddy potentially coming back is also on the horizon...
i agree ... from the sound of things I think Graham gets rewarded with a lot of carries in the coming weeks. Regardless he will still get all of the goal line workIf I was a gambling man, I'd bet that Graham gets a majority of carries next week as retribution. If the article posted above is correct, Dunn wouldn't have an issue.
