East Coast Flood Warning (1 Viewer)

This Sunday and Memorial Day Monday were both two EPIC fails on the weather forecasting front in the Delaware Valley.  Both were supposed to be catastrophic for most/all of the day.  Both failed on that front.

My recycle bin got knocked over, but all else is ok.

Monday is recycle day and we missed it last week for the holiday. Probably my fault for overfilling it.

Yep.

In CNJ as well.

Woke up that day to about 7 Nibley messages with all these local towns cancelling their parades and festivities.

OMG!

You should see if the Federal Government will declare your garbage/recycle area a disaster zone and give you some funding to get you and your family back on your feet.  Good luck, prayers are with you.

Thank you. A milk jug ended up 20 yards down the street. It was terrible. Going to bed early tonight. Have a glorious evening everyone.

Great deli 4 blocks from my house doesn't deliver, wife wanted me to pick up sammiches, so I took my son and we went outside, as we walked outside the sky and winds just opened up. Gusts had to be in the 40-45mph range, rain must've been coming down at a foot an hour. Took him upstairs, got the monster golf umbrella and went.

I always enjoy seeing the people with no umbrellas run, others just accept their fate and walk - very entertaining.

Have spent the last few days in Bolton NY on Lake George. Yesterday had to have been two inches of rain here and that was with a drizzle break from about 12-4. Never seen such continuous downpours.

Yeah, that feeling when you want to check on the storm but the storm has crippled your satellite signal.

Managed to get into work this morning during a lull in the rain. This afternoon heading home is gonna suck.

Just hope it doesn't stall.

We got crushed in Cranston.  At least a couple of inches yesterday in a very short time period.  That happened twice.

It feels nice out now.

Oh, noes, it's gonna rainnnnn!

Round the clock local news coverage for this.

Assuming the storm comes ashore on it's current path and timing, 2-6 inches of rain could fall over a 24-hour period. Because the storm is expected to move quickly, only locations don't drain well should experience any flooding.
