Eddie Lacy Potential 2014 (1 Viewer)

Looking for what other's think Lacy's potential is for this year?? Does he fit in with the top group of McCoy, Petersen, Charles and Forte?? Is he a step below them as yet or perhaps does he even fall below Lynch and Ball and maybe even Murray? I am seeing a great deal of potential this year in a fully charged Packers offense. Will GB spell him often enough that he looses value or will they ride him like a true "stud" RB?

Thanks for your comments.

I think he can be right up there ... Hard to be in Charles/Mccoy/AP/forte tier but he may be just a step under still worth top 5-7 pick.. 1500 plus yards from scrimmage 50 catches and 15 tds are possible.

He's going to be a three down, bellcow, goalline, etc. back on a team with what shapes up to be one of the league's elite offenses. There isn't any real year-end ranking ceiling for him.

He doesn't have the track record yet to easily justify taking him ahead of the guys who have been putting those kinds of seasons up for a few years, but I'd have no qualms with anyone who projected him for league-leading fantasy points.

There are about ten RB's, eight WR's, and a handful of QB's I'd be completely non-surprised to see leading the pack at year's end. Lacy is certainly in that group.

Eddie lady's potential is the #1 ff rb for this year. I'm not saying I predict that but the potential is definitely there.

I think that this will be more of a time share than everyone thinks. Harris is a better back than most give credit for. Also starks is no slouch. Most guys lacy size and run violent as he does end up getting injured and nicked up if there ridden to hard. McCarthy is a smart coach. He knows his team has potential to go deep. I believe he will keep fat eddy fresh for that playoff push by spelling him quite often!

"Stuff" like this is still being written? Just goes to show some people can talk themselves into anything if they really want it bad enough.

I own lacy in a number of leagues. So I'm not trying to talk myself into anything. I could pull up the Trent Richardson post from this same time last year and the was a lot of people saying the exact same thing about him as they are about lacy right now. I'm Just Saying The packers are a great offense with a not so great defense that will face a lot of explosive teams they might have to throw to keep up with. I want lacy to be the number 1 back this year but watching the Packers over the years I just don't see him approaching that. Maybe lower top 10 as his floor. That's why I like having him he is a high ceiling, high floor guy to me. I'm just not going to annoint him the best rb of 2014 before I've seen him play a couple games this year

I hope this was only Seattle defense and not like I called it.

His ceiling is probably 500 total yards and 1 TD.
this may be high if he keeps jumping into walls with his head... GB needs to coach him up and teach him how not to lead with your head and get it banged around... Your dealing with some bangers in the seahawks you don't go throwing your neck out leading with your head.
