For those other Eli Manning owners out there, who are your other QB's and are you considering starting Eli vs TB this week or considering your other QB?

I have Cutler as my other QB and did debate who to start week 1 and in going with Manning, made the wrong choice. Do Eli and the Giants bounce back this week from what I heard (didn't see) against a good TB Def? or might some of you start your other QB and if so, who and why?

My backups to Eli are Russell Wilson and Jake Locker. Rolling with Eli this week, but plan to play matchups going forward if Wilson and locker develop as expected. That said, I will be trying to trade Eli in a package for an upgrade.

I have Eli and Cutler in a league as well. Even though the Cutler matchup looks juicy, I'm going to roll with Eli again this week. I can't imagine them playing poorly again and starting the season 0-2 against some of the easier teams on their very difficult schedule this year. I think they still had some cobwebs to shake off from week 1. They will get the passing game going early and often this week.

IIRC Eli started pretty slowly last year too (I own him in dynasty) but then went on a tear the last 2/3 of the season.

Agree. It would take a great alternative for me to do that. One decent game against Cam Newton doesn't make one of the worst 2011 defenses automatically good.

Starting him with confidence in two leagues. If Cruz makes those catches it's a different game IMO. Elis should be fine and will end up a top 7-9ish guy.
