Plays a good, but banged up Dallas defense. Certainly an opportunity to exploit the secondary.

Plays on the road, but given the circus-like atmosphere that is NYC, this is not necessarily a bad thing.

Has had a very good pre-season

Should have a full complement of receivers on Sunday (Right now, Plaxico, Shockey, Toomer along with Smith and Sinorice looks pretty decent on paper)

And, it does not hurt that more attention will be cast upon the opposing QB

I think Eli's projection from week 1 material is a miss.

250-2-1 gets you 19.5 using default FBG scoring.

Now that I've said that, he will throw 4 INTs and fumble twice.

I have him as a "QB2 with upside" but I'm waiting to see how he fares without having Tiki there as a dumpoff option. Also, he didn't throw a pass to Plaxico in the preseason, if I'm not mistaken. I like their weapons but 3 of them are often nicked up (Plax, Shockey, Sinorice). I wouldn't start Eli in Week 1 until some of these questions are answered.

I feel the same way. Plus, Dallas secondary likes to give up the big play. Plax not playing in the preseason doesnt worry me at all since they have played together for years now. If they dont have chemistry yet they are never gunna get it.

That said....im debating between him and Big Ben.
