I was at a barbecue yesterday and I was talking to a guy who was Tom Coughlin's next door neighbor. He said that he talked to Tom in the driveway yesterday morning and Tom told him that Eli is fine and that he will definitely start. Eli is not feeling any pain and is able to throw the ball without any pain. Tom said he had to make him a GTD but that he will get the start. Take it for what it's worth. Im 100% telling the truth. Now whether the guy is lying or Tom lied to him I honestly dont know. I tried to get some info about Jacobs but he didn't mention anything. Guy also called Tiki a real dirtbag and said Tom told him he was a real cancer in the clubhouse last year.

I was at a BBQ with Eli Friday night and I was shocked at what I saw...he showed up empty handed, what a deadbeat!

Giants quarterback Eli Manning, who was hurt in the fourth quarter of New York's loss to the Cowboys in Week 1, told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio that he will start Sunday against the Packers.

Manning plans to wear a pad over his sprained right shoulder.

On Friday, Manning took some snaps with the Giants' first unit for the first time all week. He split time with Jared Lorenzen, who would have started at quarterback Sunday if Manning wasn't able to go.
