I'm doing this from my phone so no link and sorry if it was already posted, but this is a pretty surprise cut especially this late in spring.

Must've screwed up again.

can only hope that this means giving Ian Desmond a chance to play everyday, even if some of those days are in RF!
That's not what the organization's saying. They want to get Desmond ready to be the SS in 2011, so he's gonna be full time in the majors or more likely at AA or AAA at SS until the inevitable Guzman/Kennedy injury or total breakdown. Or so they say. For the time being they're saying some sort of poop platoon in right, with Mike Morse, Justin Maxwell, Roger Bernadina and/or Willie Harris in the role of said poop in varying quantities and consistences.

I saw where they said he was playing SS whether it be in Washington or in AAA as well. I will believe that when I see it as the kid continues to rake and Guzman is working his way out of a job. I am not sure how Washington can open the season without Desmond in the fold with the way the kid has played last fall and this spring, but then again.. this is Washington so anything can happen.

Honestly, I've already starting thing of creative things to yell at Riggleman after they shun Desmond in favor of Guzman and his sub-.700 OPS and awful SS play. If you've got any creative ideas for me, let me know.
