England becoming a Caliphate. US next (1 Viewer)

FEAR AND PANIC

(with some xenophobia and anti-Islamic views thrown in for good measure)

FYI, we are not comparable to England in this manner anyway.

Well it's been delayed by at least four years. But people say never?  I won't see it, but my grandkids might one day(50 years).

America gets more secular every day. The point that is coming is all religion will be seen as outdated and unimportant. Can't happen soon enough either.

Great.   A blog where the author has published 52 articles all attacking Islam in the last 14 months.  He doesn't write about anything else.

When people realize that when you die you don't go to a better place, they will finally decide to make THIS world the better place.  I don't expect this to happen in my lifetime, but I can hope.

Well there are a lot of congregations who are concerned with the here and now.

But magical thinking is itself an issue. With that said we can not rule out some kind of after life. In fact Quantum physics makes it a scientific possibility really. The transfer of consciousness within the multiverse is a possibility supported by the theories. Now it's not streets paved with gold or 72 virgins but it is a continuance of some form of self.

Why do you hate America?

An atheist.  Just like Matuski.

he'll do something different after the NFL draft. he's working on a full 7 round mock draft that will come out the night before.

That said, a little part of me will miss coming into LGA airport (as I just did) with some muslims in full garb getting out of their car, and the car in front of them doing the same with fully decked out hasids (probably coming from some New Jersey community they have recently overrun).

Ironically, both groups are likely extremists with far more in common with each other than either have with me.

Yeah I read an article about that a while ago.  I also read an article suggesting that we are just a simulation, and in fact whatever is simulating us is also a simulation and on and on.  There are some things that I value more and which is what is true for us, which is our current existence.

Remember the good old days when we were only fearing the Mexicans and we were all going to be forced to learn Spanish?  Now its the Muslims, huh?  Just keep those damned Canadians out, eh.

Is that a real sentence or just a simulation? Also, I'm just teasing because I don't know what it means.

I remember when the Japanese were going to own the world, including the US. How'd that work out again?

And of course if we advance far enough we will create the next Sims.

Wouldn't it be interesting if it turns out the reincarnation based after life's were the most correct? And that everyone gets to move on regardless of professed faith or lack there of?

No offense guys, but this is sounding a lot like modern alchemy.

Now, I have no problem with that, but when we start talking about "create" and the transfer of consciousness, we are really on a line that straddles religion...even if it speaks the modern language of science.

Again, I am not critical of it at all; it's just that it may not be as far away from what some earlier posts deny.

Am I mis-reading sarcasm here?

#### the greasy bastards from eastern and southern Europe with their commie anarchist beliefs. They just won't ever assimilate and I'm glad we put a quota on them. We don't need anymore Saccos or Vanzitis (what the hell kind of names are those anyway? This is America, get an American name) coming here to kill and steal from thehard working real Americans. If we could put all them Eyetalians and Poles on a boat to the bottom of the ocean, the country would be better off.

The alchemists were right,  modern scientists can turn other atoms into gold atoms.

No sarcasm. I am an athiest personally. But I can't deny the possibilities that science provides for these mechanics. Now the possibilities are of course remote but can't be ruled out completely if we are going to be intellectually honest. Even if they do seem.to be getting metaphysical. If that's where the science leads us then it does.

I totally agree. In fact, I was going to take that stand myself.

Good thought 80's.

Of course, the old alchemists were WAY MORE wrong on MANY MORE things, than what they got right from our current perspective, but science would not be science without them.

those good-for-nothing Irish though? Salt of the earth. Keep those drunks coming. We need more of their kind around here.
