Enough With This Heat and Humidity! (1 Viewer)

Always fun to hear the northeast get an average southern summer day or two, and lose their #### whining.
We're not dumb enough to accept this year round.

Its why we kicked your asses for enlightenment's sake and then stayed right the #### where we are.

We always have fun up in the north when we hear the south gets three inches of snow and whole cities get shut down for days.

Seriously, I don't know how you southerners deal with the heat.  I guess you get used to it...I love the snow/cold and it can never be too cold for me.
We always have fun down here in the South when the North gets up to 85 degrees and whole cities thinks they are about to burst in to flames.

Seriously, I don't know how you Northerners deal with the cold. I guess you get used to it. I love the nine months of the year when it is mild and it is worth a few months of warmer summer temperatures.

Air Conditioning.  South would still be dirt roads and tar paper shacks if it weren't for the invention of conditioned air.

It was 98 degrees with a heat index of 113 in South Jersey today. Don't even pretend that is just a typical day for the South. That's more miserable than even the South typically gets. And most buildings in the North are designed more to deal well with the cold rather than extreme heat, so buildings and HVAC systems don't perform well when it gets that miserable.

Right. Just like three inches of snow in the South isn't typical. So I guess you are agreeing with my sarcastic reply. Thanks.
