He's definitely a good buy-low, one that I will be targeting. He's only been targeted three less times than D.Thomas, so there's still no clear favorite here. I think Decker has just gotten a bit unlucky with drawing some PI calls against him in the RZ and near misses on big plays.
So far, he's put up WR4 stats on WR4 targets. They are running the ball a lot, especially last night after Peyton's arm looked shot in the 1st quarter. Decker's had trouble holding on to the ball while Thomas is making great catches (like the TD catch at the end of the first half last night. Their third wideout is getting a decent number of targets, leaving not that many for Decker. Overall, this just doesn't look like the kind of passing offense that is going to support two good fantasy WRs.
Is neither an option? I think he's fairly well-rated. He'll get a decent number of targets, but he's not a freakishly athletic as DT, so he's not going to do as much with them. He'll probably be better than he is, but all the Decker > DT hype was crazy.
I think he has the talent but Peyton Manning just doesn't have it any more. He's floating the ball a lot more than he used to and that works when he can throw it up to DThomas, but for guys like Decker he needs to be able to zip it in in the middle of the field and it doesn't look like Peyton can do that.
Now if you think Manning will regain his ability to do that as the season progresses, by all means buy on Decker. I'm not sure I see it happening though.
Is there anything to the "Manning cant throw to his right" thing? I havent been able to see either game but the stat lines doesnt look to good for Decker and he does line up on the right.

Bah, I tend to agree with you to an extent here. Decker is a high catch % WR by nature and a lot of his success is predicated on the QB being rather accurate. I don't think Manning has totally lost it though.
