I've not played on ESPN, but I would guess you need to wait until scoring is finalized for the week. On services I've used, that's as early as Tuesday 4 am or so and as late as 10 am or sometimes noon if there is a problem.Until scoring is finalized, many leagues cannot set their claim order, etc. which is why the delay occurs. Again, I'm not in a league on ESPN. Check their FAQ or e-mail tech support if you want specifics.
