I have played in cbs sports leagues for years and only recently started playing ESPN leagues. I thought I understood how their waivers worked but after reviewing waiver reports not so sure. In cbs if you put in a waiver for someone but they were already taken it kept moving down your list until it found someone available. Looking at the ESPN waiver report it appears if your top choice at that time is not available it looks like you lose out and it moves to the next league mate in the waiver order. You will then get a chance for your next person in the next round of waivers. Is this how it works? If so it seems so stupid.
