I was doing a list of established (not holding the job purely because of injury but because he is seen as probably the future) young QBs (under 28) that make the playoffs for the first time.

2015 possibles: Vikings (Bridgewater), Bills (Taylor), Broncos (Osweiler), Raiders (Carr), Redskins (Cousins), Buccaneers (Winston), Eagles (Bradford)

2014: none

2013: Panthers (Newton), Eagles (Foles)

2012; 49ers (Kapernick), Colts (Luck), Seahawks (Wilson), Redskins (Griffin)

2011: Lions (Stafford), Bengals (Dalton)

2010: none

2009: Packers (Rodgers)

2008: Falcons (Ryan), Ravens (Flacco)

2007: Redskins (Campbell)

Others in 2015 waiting for their shot: Mariota, Bortles,

There are a lot of young established QBs looking for their first taste of the playoffs. 9 of them!

There are also several other QBs that are looking to make their first post season or earn their first playoff win that are still in the hunt. Fitzgerald, Dalton, Hoyer, Bradford, Cousins, and Palmer are all looking for their first playoff win. There could be a lot of unproven QBs heading to the playoffs this year.

So interesting Palmer does not have a playoff win with first try 10 yrs ago. I'm rooting for him.

He quit. And for some reason he is given a pass for zero playoff wins. Hope the streak continues for the guy.
