On the infamous Donald Brown blocking clip, I think he was either supposed to release as an outlet receiver or block the RE, since the LE already had a Tackle and TE there to block him. There were several awful plays in his rookie season, notably a play in which he was supposed to chip the DE but instead blindsided the Tackle, giving the DE a free path to sack Peyton. It was bad, but by all accounts, Brown is a smart guy who works hard and isn't afraid of contact. Those guys tend to become good pass blockers over time, and I'm hoping the same happens for Brown. I think Brown will play as the feature back over Hart when he's healthy enough, but Monday night will probably be more of an even split due to the hamstring injury.
Hart looks to be in the process of proving that he belongs in the NFL, even though he's probably slower than most FB's. Somehow, he finds a way. Usually he plods around until somebody wraps him up, then he uses his incredible strength to pull out of the tackle and dive forward for another 3 yards. He does this so consistently that I think he could actually keep this offense on schedule enough to maintain most of its success. He's been cut by the Colts more times than I can count, but I think he has solidified himself as the long-term #3 RB now. Jarvarris James and Andre Brown will have to really show something to stick around on the active roster.
