F-35 Take Off - This can't be real (1 Viewer)

Um, yeah....it's real

It may not be in service yet, but it's coming. Each branch of the military is going to have their version....the "hovering" one is the one for the marines. Strangely I watched a special on this weapon last night on military channel :oldunsure: Or is this just taking issue with the "flip" part of the video?
:lmao:
It's a real plane that can do those things  That's why I asked which part they were taking issue with.
You were wondering about the vertical take off (which we have all seen for decades now) versus the flip in regards to which part they would take issue with?
It can do the flip too. Now that I see the question was relative to where it took place (i.e. that close to the ground and off a boat) so it's clearer and already been answered by someone else.
AND THAT IT'S A F###ING VIDEO GAME!
WE DON'T ALL PLAY VIDEO GAMES NERD!
I love video games

I've seen this done in person. Completely legit.
No you haven't. You've never seen an inverted loop from a hover position ever. You may have seen a hover. And you may have seen an inverted loop. But you have never seen an inverted loop from a hover.
WTH are you to question SacramentoBob?
When it comes to flying, I have carte blanche.
You say that. But why should we believe you?

You don't have to play video games to know what animation looks like. Nice try though.

Is it animation or is it just poor quality video?

Hovering planes have been around forever. We're talking about the flip.

Video on the ship is obviously fake, but doing that at elevation has occurred.
Yeah...it was part of the show last night. That's a bad ### plane. I don't really keep up with military technology, but after watching that show, I was left with the impression that no one other than the US will ever control the skies in a war.
I'm not saying I'm buying one side or the other, but the point is that there is definitely some criticism of the F35.
