Benson, for three main reasons:

1) Morris and Faulk are going to get regular carries every game to spell Maroney.

2) N.E. will throw more than Chicago because they have Tom Brady and the Bears.... don't.

3) I don't have Maroney in a dynasty league.

If assuming neither get hurt:

Will side with Benson since Chicago run more frequently. The primary runner could be top 10.

I believe Morris/Faulk are more of a threat to take carries than Peterson.

Benson has handled a full workload in college more times than Maroney.

Chicago slightly better defense and slightly worse opponents, more running out the clock(?)

Very tough poll. Could go either way.

Maroney - more multi dimensional than Benson. He'll have far more catches...of course I play PPR

Have em both in my keeper league so I hope they both do well. Having said that, I think Maroney is good for at least 12 TDs this year. Now with the rumor that Moss might be in NE, it bumps him up even more because Ds cant play the run as much (no disrespect to Welker)

I am a Bears homer, but I like Maroney is this matchup due to better receiving skills and being in a better all-round offense with the far superior QB. But it's close......Benson should get 20+ carries a game.

What's your problem?If you don't like the thread don't open or read it.Just that simple!Now back to business.I think Maroney (yes I own LoMo) by far. First NE likes to kill the clock and I see them having a lead in the 2nd half of most games and they will run the ball. Second if you look at NE track record with their 1st round picks they are rarely uneducated about their choices. If they drafted LoMo in the 1st round then they are well aware that he can be the GUY in this offense.Benson is just a major injury in the making. I mean come on it's the SuperBowl, oh sorry the "BIG GAME" oh sorry again the game between the two best teams in football at the end of the season (did I break and laws with reagrds to trademark infringments?), get off the bench and get in the game you wuss. I don't have mush faith in his ability to stay healthy for a full year. I see getting about 15 carries a game with a lot of time on the bench getting a breather!!!!

I like these VS spreads... some people need to complain over nothing, ones u don't want in your league... anyways I like Maroney here, Benson in my book will not last a full season. keep up the good work brother

For the simple fact that Benson is a schmuck. Every time he is presented with an opportunity to take control in Chicago he screws it up. I look for him to get injuried now that he is the man, probably slipping in the shower or something like that.
