It might look okay value wise but I much rather have Sammy and Luck

I don't think that is enough to get Luck and Watkins.  A year ago I couldn't trade picks like that for Luck alone.  I would need more for those two guys but if someone is hit with rookie pick fever you never know.

Understood. Thanks. FWIW, the Luck owner has been bad for years and owns Luck, Ben and Rodgers. I'm hoping the deep draft makes it worth it for him to take a shot.

Not close apparently. Rejected with the comment that he wouldn't give up either player for the 1.01. Clearly we are on different ends of the Watkins value spectrum.

Well, easy enough to move on then.  I actually appreciate it when I get feedback like that because I can quickly say you like that guy much more than I am willing to pay so I can go to plan B.

The problem with the offer was not just the 1.04 for Watkins. He is going 1.02 - 1.03 in trades, so that is not that far off. However, Luck is still considered in most quarters an elite QB and he has got some good weapons to work with (TY, Moncrief, et all.)  so a 1.09 doesn't come close to cutting it, even in leagues that are not particularly QB friendly.
