Falcons at Lions (1 Viewer)

Det is so stupid. Calvin can out jump the world yet they never try it at the gl. I love it lol

Where's the guy who ripped on me for being a Bills fan? Our players don't kneel the ball after a safety on the four yard line. Again this franchise makes Cleveland and Oakland look amazing

Yep, If you totalled all the rings between Cleveland, Oakland, Buffalo and Detroit, you'd have 3 rings. Good call.

You really should stop. It's foolish. "Your team sucks more than my sucky team!"

Gruden totally taking a dump on Calvin's record.
He's got a point though. Calvin will have the record, but Rice will still have had the better (and more meaningful) season. Still, give the guy a little love while your still calling the game in which he broke the record.

Seriously. The ####ing guy has orgasms over the most mundane plays, the most average players, the most normal things. And yet he feels the need to get critical at that moment? Really?

You mean like the play he claimed Suh made a great defensive play and on the replay Suh ran down the line but was not involved in the tackle?

Stafford is the garbage-time king (somehow that doesn't translate to TD's this year though). Not a good season for him. The difference between him and Megatron is that Calvin's a great player regardless of how he gets his numbers. I think it's a bit unfair to bash him for getting late-game yards or playing in a pass-happy era like it's his fault or something.

There are some mixed feelings though. You don't want to get too excited because the ultimate goal is winning, and the Lions are in the midst of a terrible losing steak. But, it's a record that's stood for 17 years, and he did it in 15 games.

Also, that 1995 season was noted for having a huge spike in passing numbers (think there was a rule change, but I'm not completely sure).

:goodposting: That really pissed me off. Calvin is a special player, and will probably break 2,000 yards next week. And Gruden takes the opportunity to #### all over his amazing year? #### him.
