**Falcons at Patriots**(-5.5, 45) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Lots of fairly big favorites this week around the NFL, Falcons lost 34-10 to the pitiful Dolphins at home, the Patriots are actually good, winners of 5 in a row I believe

Drake Maye continues his ascension it the story in this game will be how Treveyon Henderson goes wild.

Bijan has a game too but the difference between Maye and Penix will be big.

Would really like to see the Pats win this game...they are at Tampa next week and I would much prefer they head into that game without a loss at home against an unpredictable but beatable team...would take a lot pressure off going into a tough road game especially with the Jets at home the following week...this game and next week are huge games as far as Drake Maye's MVP candidacy is concerned...he has a lot of eyes on him right now and if he is going to have a legit chance to win it I gotta believe these two weeks (along with the Buffalo and Baltimore games) will have a heavy influence on it.

I'm shocked this spread is so low.

I think Drake London could do some compiling (though his splits with/without Mooney are troubling) and Bijan likely breaks at least 1 huge play, but I don't know that the Falcons move the ball too well in this one.

I think NE does pretty much whatever they want on offense. Drake Maye should have another 3 TD game. I think Boutte continues to hit one long TD, and Diggs should have his way in the slot vs rookie Billy Bowman. I even think TreVeyon Henderson hits some bigger runs, and maybe establishes a bigger role in Stevenson's absence.

First three plays for the Pats...two runs by Henderson and Jennings in for a successful third down run.
 
Henderson looks good...just got his second reception of the opening drive...both good gains.
 
Pats TD...Maye to Pop...McDaniels just called a beautiful drive...he is an awful HC but a stud OC.
 
Pats D seems very focused on Bijan (as they should be)...Chiasson is turning into an excellent signing.
 
7-7...Falcons calling plays where Penix throws it quickly...went 4-4 and was very effective...totally neutralized the pass rush which was an issue their first two drives...nice adjustment.
 
Why did they draft Henderson in the early 2nd when they just take a street FA and run him instead

Maybe he's one of the many who just isn't good in the nfl

He looks very good today as he did last week...on pace to go over 100 total yards...if your expectation is to have him be a bell-cow you are never going to get it.

Don't pretend you thought this was going to be his role on this team - losing carriers to a guy that wasn't even in the nfl last week.

He may not be a bell cow but he shouldn't be getting outcarried by an absolute nobody

You must not know McDaniels...Henderson is never going to be a bell-cow...ever...what I see today is what I have been hoping for all year...getting about 50% share (hopefully a bit more) with heavy involvement in the passing game.
 
London is a handful...knows how to use his size...if the Pats lose that fumble will be the biggest reason.
 
Of course, the week I pick up Boutte and drop Quentin johnston, Johnston catches a touchdown and Boutte exits the game with 0.00 points.

Same 👎🏻, different week.
 
Maye sails one for an interception...love the kid but his turnovers are the only thing keeping Atlanta in this game.
 
Henderson is showing nice patience and vision. He's doing a good job making the first defender miss too.
