**Falcons at Titans** (+2.5, 35) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

This feels like a low scoring game as Arthur Smith visits his former boss.

Its really touch to see the Titans offense doing much. The Falcons have quietly been one of the toughest matchups for QBs this season, so not the best matchup for Will Levis to make his 1st start, though I do think he's a better choice than Willis at least. I'd probably be picking the non-Titan in any close lineup calls this week.

I'd love to recommend some Falcons but could easily see Mack Hollins or someone being the focus.

I'll say Atlanta wins 21-13. They should probably win by more, but I find them tough to trust.

Really odd familiarity between these two teams. A little tidbit that may not matter but is odd is more than 200 former players are expected to be there and to some degree everyone has been spending a lot of time together. 170 RSVP'd with more expected.

Falcons have a top DL, Titans do on paper.
Falcons OL should be far better than they've been playing, Titans changed their LT and are not moving Skoronski there.

Statements about Titans two QBs seems to be "don't expect us to be understanding, you'll get pulled." The percentages have been odd guesses.

In Kelly's every other week get yelled at for not using Henry enough system...this is the down week and it better not be.

There's been a lot of talk of Burks busting and Phillips not panning out and Chig not meeting expectations. It's very much looking like the OC could be fired.

Why's that matter? Because Vrabel got his job because Mularkey refused to fire Robiskie and...Arthur Smith became the OC etc.

The Titans added two new safeties to replace a perennial pro bowl Kevin Byard so idk who is playing or who is covering Pitts and I expect the Falcons to test them deep.

The Titans hadn't allowed a 100 yard rusher for 20 games but Teair Tart for hurt and they've been awful. Their slowish but heady ILBs have been exposed with even Campbell being cut this week. Tart returns but Bijan may wreck them running wide.

Kristian Fulton WAS a top CB but he's been awful and got benched. With slot CB McCreary out, he is expected to start so they're probably throwing some to London and testing him.

Understanding Arthur is about throwing to the mismatches and while I expect Pitts and Bijan to make plays, it'll be the other guys doing well as the Titans overcompensate and fall into his trap.

Cordarelle got healthy last week and ran well. Arthur said he could play as many positions as he wants this week. It could be the first game we see this Joker role to force mismatches too.

Vrabel has never lost after a bye week. I think he's overdue and things aren't good but if he pulls this off it'll be a big big deal.

The most interesting part might just be how much the offense goes through Henry.

Gotta be honest here, if I were a betting man I’d be putting a large chunk on Atlanta to cover.

24-14

Surprising Falcons against struggling Titans.
Rumors of King Henry's departure have been greatly overblown.
I think His Majesty blows up today and Vrabel keeps his post bye record in tact.
Nostradumbass agrees...

Tennessee- 27
Atlanta- 23

Any Titan homers here have the scoop on whether or not Henry will be traded?

Not a Titan homer, but those in the know and on the beat (The Athletic, ESPN) have said "no." Whether you can trust that as far as you can throw it is another issue . . .

Falcons drive stalled for FG
12th start for Ridder

Henry drive first drive, now appears to be a Spears drive.
Chig ran route too short, didn't get first.
On previous, the diagonal coming up direction of shotgun...I think that was on Levis. Just uncomfortable. I think anyone would reach n grab it but nerves got him.
Titans faked punt and got first down.

1st & goal: Allgeier run
2nd & goal: Jonnu Smith pass (incomplete)
3rd & goal: Ridder sacked.

Impressive play calling for a team with Bijan, London, and Pitts.

Big Jeff surprisingly as a wide DE/OLB, no one picked him up, sack. Ridder looked scared and still seemed it on next play.
Can't blame him 😊

There was a third down completion to London in there too

Ugly high lob screen to Henry, should have just thrown it ordinary height
There's the big arm. Levis pump fake then deep to Nuk for TD.
Just do this- Henry Henry Nuk- a lot of times please! I'm afraid Kelly will get cute today.

Anyhow, maybe that's it for Levis uncomfortable nerves

Algeier fumble maybe non call whistle blown
Possibly a gift right back for Falcons...idk tough one to judge

Huge short Henry run because Ellis and Grady Jarrett both banged up on it.
That could be a big loss for the D and/or a big intimidating point for the King

Ellis is back
Sideline reporter says he's been out since first Q, that's not what announcers said

Stupid screen to Phillips on 3rd and ten

Big Jeff is having a day
I don't know where Bijan's head was that play. It looked like a gimme, hits him in chest, three n out.
That's always what I see with Falcons. Ya forget they're all young and bound to make some mistakes- so many of them.

Beautiful punt from end zone and great tackle. Titans at their thirty. Falcons at least overcame the dopey punt return error field position

Forced two in a row to Pitts- guy hasn't been open all day how is he doing his job and using his athleticism?
Big Jeff poked ball out on Ridder. I get that's on the QB but he looked like every QB ever and just a 350 pound beast's hand is too strong.

Slant TD to Nuk. Terrell too ready to mix it up again, Nuk ran right past him. Veteran intelligence

Tennessee better start Levis from here out
First of all, it's been a lot of Henry and that's what we've wanted all year. I don't have confidence in any Titans QB if Henry isn't getting it often.

He's looked very good once he settled down.

Arthur saves stuff for the second half and has always. Let's see how they adjust.

It's definitely the best QB half (visually if not statistically) by a Titans QB this year

Falcons ST keeps making errors and setting the offense up horribly. Really unfortunate setting up for their offense.

Big Jeff is having an all time great game. He was double teamed there so the LB just scooted up the middle for a sack.

Long long third down, D let Jonnu catch it and tackle him short of first down

Falcons punt team has been great, it's their return teams stinkin

Key and Simmons almost a safety sack

Telling ya Big Jeff may be having a best ever game for a DT

👍🏽 I don’t get titans games on YouTube but they’ve shown a few plays on red zone. He’s obviously looked good in highlights. Glad to hear he looks good for non highlights too.
