Falcons rookie questions (1 Viewer)

How long if ever before Robinson starts in Atl?

Is Snelling more of a Petrino type running back? What are his chances of ever starting or becoming the Red zone RB?

I :lmao: Laurent Robinson and think he is an excellent option that should emerge sooner than later. He perhaps comes to the Falcons with the best hands on the team, runs excellent routes especially the curl and hook, good shiftiness and adequate deep speed to boot.

He'll be a good possession receiver in single coverage but his value will be stunted by the questionable offense and the reliance on Alge Crumpler.

EDIT: Expect him to be utliized very similarly to Harry Douglas (WR- Lou) in Petrino's offense. Some stuff over the middle, trying to isolate him and take advantage of his route running/speed. Also, slants, hooks, curls will be part of his repertoire. He should be a high catch guy in this offense just like Douglas despite being option #? on the offense. Douglass did just fine in this role, going for 70 catches and 1200+ yards. :goodposting:

About week 3 for Laurent, after a handfull of horrible drops by the 2 hacks in front of him. In reality, he should start week 1.

Both rookies were impressive, but they have to show this against the starters before I get overly excited. Atlanta seems to have something here though.
