I'm going to have to do some research. Other than QB, RB, WR, TE and a few defensive players I'm not sure of the rest.

Tomlinson over Charles...wut? Charles has 5 less carries, 122 more yards.

Brandon Flowers fills one of your empty spaces at CB. Tamba Hali is the best pass-rusher in the AFC this year.

Good call. Charles is only averaging a full YPC more than McFadden.

Anyone seen Mario Williams lately, btw? Heard he still plays for the Texans but see no evidence of that.

PR - Hester. I don't get why they still punt to him. 289 and 2 touchdowns on 17 tries. Only McCluster beats him in PR yards and thats cause its 7 tries.

Couple thoughts:

Very quietly, Eric Winston has become the best RT in the NFL. he's constantly opening massive holes in the running game and is a very solid pass blocker...when not facing Robert Mathis.

Chad Clifton is having the best year of his career, the rest of the Packers o-line is very bleh, but Clifton is playing some great football.

Kyle Williams of the Bills is perhaps the best all around interior lineman in the NFL this year. He'd be a household name if he were on the Jets or Patriots.

I don't really like putting DeAngelo Hall on the list becomes he's very boom or bust, but he's leading the NFL in INT's and passes defended. I feel very comfortable making the statement that Tramon Williams is a better cornerback than Charles Woodson, and I don't feel that I'm saying anything negative about Woodson in that statement.

If 2008 was the running back draft, and 2009 was the wide receiver draft, then 2010 is the safety draft. Berry and Thomas might already be the two best safeties in the NFL...at least until Ed Reed gets fully healthy. No, I'm not forgetting Polamalu, he hasn't played to that level this year. He's been pretty mediocre in coverage, being late, maybe the knee injury cost him a step or two.

Charles Godfrey has pretty much been a revelation for the Panthers. Of course the way their season is going, I'm not sure many people have noticed.

I didn't pick who I think are the best players, I picked who I think is playing the best so far this season, which is how it should be voted.
