Fanduel/Draftkings Week 12 (1 Viewer)

It looks like DraftKings has Mon-Thurs contests that exclude the BUF-NYJ game, while FanDuel and most other sites have Mon-Only contests and Thurs-Only contests, but no Mon-Thurs contests. (It's a bit weird not to have Mon-Thurs contests, isn't it? But I can't find any at FanDuel or the other sites I've checked, other than DraftKings.)

I've got a Mon-Only version of the FanDuel interactive value chart now. I'll be putting up the Mon-Only version of other sites within the next few minutes, then I'll do Mon-Thurs charts for the sites that don't have Mon-Only contests (like DraftKings) after that.

After tonight's games, I'll do the Week 13 charts, including a Thurs-Only tab for sites that offer that category.
FanDuel now has Mon-Thurs games...

It looks like the Mon-only contests include BUF-NYJ (obviously), but the Mon-Thurs contests do not.

Let me know by posting here if you find a Mon-Thurs contest (at any site) that includes BUF-NYJ, but my plan for now is to create just three categories: Mon-Only, Mon-Thurs, and Thurs-Only. The BUF-NYJ players will be included only in the first category.

I'll add a fourth category (Mon-Thurs including BUF-NYJ) if I need to...

Can I have your baby?

Change in plans. The week 12 (for Mon-only) and week 13 (for Mon-Thurs and Thurs-only) player pricing is different in some cases. That screws me up if I try to put them in the same value chart.

So the Mon-only contests are at the week 12 URLs. The sites that offer Mon-only contests are FanDuel, 247drafts, DraftDay, FantasyAces and Swoopt. The value charts for them are up now from the week 12 links.

The Mon-Thurs and Thurs-only contests will be up shortly at the week 13 URLs. (For any given site, just change the 12 to 13 at the end of the week 12 URL. Right now I've got Mon-Only stuff up at both places, but I'll overwrite the week 13 stuff when it's ready.)

I have a few good scores going into tonight's games on DK. I'm having a tough time deciding between going with Steve Smith or Percy Harvin..

Surprisingly enough, I ended up ok on my Sunday 1pm, Sunday only, Day only, and Day only no BUF-NYJ games from yesterday (basically everything for the weekend other than the general Thursday and Sunday entries).

This surprised me since I was fairly heavy on Shorts, Vereen, and Murray. Also had a lil bit of Mason, Wayne, Marshall and other crap. Nonethless finished up about 27% on those ($119 wagered for 151 won). DT, Gordon, Crowell certainly helped, but Gronk and Fleener did not.

My Thursday and Sunday entries may have a slightly lower percentage of those stinkers... hoping I can finish up about the same 27% for the remaining ~$300 or so I have in play.... lots of Watkins, a bit of Stills/Colston/Brees/Graham and Harvin to go.

MNF should be very nice with two games on! (hopefully they won't black out the Saints game but I wouldn't be surprised)

Week 13 value charts are posted for sites with Mon-Thurs and Thurs-only contests. (Here's FanDuel; you can get to the others from there.)

For Mon-only contests, go to that site's Week 12 value chart.

Great work as always Maurile! One thing though... on the week 12 value chart (for Fan Duel, didn't check any others) when I select the option to fill in the rest of the lineup, it uses players that have already completed their games.

What is a reasonable score (cash and GPP) to target for the Monday only or Mon-Thurs games on FD? I've never done them and need to throw some scratch out on Graham to get my stink on him.

Dang. Sorry about that. The FanDuel one should be fixed now. I'll fix the others in a few minutes.

It varies widely. For low scoring games, the average score to cash can be much lower. For higher scoring games, the score could be higher in theory. But in general, lower. Not sure as to exact cutoffs, I usually only throw a couple 50/50s out there.

:goodposting: The Sun/Mon or Mon/Thurs games can vary wildly. This week will be a bit different with 4 games counting tonight but it is still a very small player pool. I will normally throw out 4 tourney lineups (one with each QB) but I usually stay away from 50/50 and other games because of the variance.

Am I spending too much time at this board if the first thing I though of when Graham dropped that TD is that ATO must have gotten him into some lineups?

Yes you are. And yes I did. And of Graham doesn't get 9.6 in the 2nd half, my strategy will have paid off.

The fantasy gods were not pleased with my efforts to trick them into smiting Graham by inserting him into a $2 GPP when I actually wanted that to happen. Last offensive play.

I tripled what I had in play. It's not a huge amount compared to most of you guys, but it was easily my best week ever. Could have been a lot better.

Anyone have a large gpp "late" contest winning scores? 4pm+sun+mon.

Nice week for me...account at all time high!

I think I broke even on DK. Hard to tell, there seems to be a delay after contest ends and it's hard to see what is what.

FD, not so good this week.

Good week overall. My #1 lineup variations were all fantastic even w/ Shorts and whatever stiff I put in at TE. All in the 150's. Won all cash games w/ them and they cashed in all GPPs. Could have really made a ton off of it, but I hedged.

My #2 lineup was also very solid, but Watkins and whatever stiff I had at TE were disappointing. Still reached 140 with it. It also won 100% in cash games and placed in GPP.

My #3 lineup was not good (105). It was 0-for in cash games.

My other GPP plays were mostly misses.

Thanks again to all the FBG staff and article writers - I exceeded my best week ever by 225%! We shall have a happy holiday season now :)

Good week on FanDuel for me this week, percentage-wise. Unfortunately I knew I was going to be really busy so I didn't have a lot of money in play. But I'll never complain about a profit.

Code:
Wk	Entered	Won ROI1	$224	$335.00 49.6%2	$208	$315.00 51.4%3	$377	$311.60 -17.3%4	$419	$633.80 51.3%5	$392	$413.80 5.6%6	$540	$626.40 16.0%7	$500	$682.80 36.6%8	$513	$568.50 10.8%9	$621	$760.00 22.4%10	$578	$506.40 -12.4%11	$456	$444.60 - 2.5%12	$208	$273.60 31.5%
I'll probably take it slow this weekend as well, going to be very busy with the holiday and other stuff.

All that effort just to lose 6% on over $400 wagered. I guess it could have been much worse.
I lost 50% .. then again I only bet $28 so not as big of a loss as you had :(

Looking good so far for the season.

Whomever reminded us to take our H2H lineups and play them in at least one tourney, thank you. As I was reviewing my entries I noticed one H2H that had no tourney entry, I entered it, and it turned into my biggest win of the year.

Thank you!

I ended slightly positive on the weekend, down about $25 on FD, up 45 on DK. It just seems kinda silly with all that money in play to basically break even. Big winner = the rake.

Had my best week of the year +47% Killed it this week on Mon-Thu and Monday Only games.

ETA: Check that.. 2nd best week % wise... best week $ wise.

Are you guys playing at FantasyUp finding that there's enough players on there to make it worth the time and research? How does the 'sharpness' of the players there compare to FanDuel? And is it mostly H2H games or tourneys you're playing there?

TIA

I would love to know this too

I don't do H2Hs.

At FantasyUp I mostly play tourneys. I've definitely found it easier to win there (and other smaller sites) than at FanDuel or DraftKings.

I really like the sites with two QBs. It's much easier to optimize lineups for tourneys vs. cash games at sites with two QBs. (Specifically, I like pairing opposing QBs with one or two of their receivers. So this week, for example, a lineup with Romo-Dez-Sanchez-Matthews might be in play, hoping for a DAL-PHI shootout. Just the first example that came to mind, not necessarily the best example.)

might check out FantasyUP. Cashed everything out of DraftKings after their 2nd debacle in the past 2 weeks. Too risky to play there IMO.

Your five-team train bumped me from first to sixth in a tournament at FantasyUp.

Congrats!!!
There was such overlay on the tourneys that I kept adding entries - ended up with 5 (or more) in each one, except for the $25 tourny in which I had 2 entries. Just happened to get 1-5 in every contest for Sunday. It was really timely for my family, so I have to credit God ... and FBG's :tebow:

These turkey day lineups are tough to feel comfortable with. Not a lot of mid range options to fill out rosters.

Is anyone else having problems withdrawaling money this weekend from Fanduel? I withdrew money over 64 hours ago and submitted 3 support tickets and haven't had any help yet. This is starting to get really frustrating. The first time I try to withdrawal a significant amount of money and there is a problem, go figure.

How do you withdraw money on Fanduel?

Do they place the funds back onto your Credit Card?
No PayPal. I've withdrew money plenty of times usually takes about 12 hours to hit my PayPal account. Now it's been over 64 hours and 3 support tickets with nothing. I got a response from the first support ticket that I submitted after 36 hours of no money and it said it usually takes 48 hours. So I sent another ticket after 48 hours and got no response. Then I just sent another at the 64 hour mark and still haven't received a response. This is really unbelievable.

Their support team may not be at full staff over Thanksgiving holiday, which I am OK with.

My experience with withdrawals has been mixed, but has generally turned out all right.

When I withdraw less than $10K, it hits my account pretty quickly. A few weeks ago I withdrew over $10K, and it never hit my account. The scary thing is, if i had not emailed them to inquire (over a week later), I wonder whether they would have ever caught it. They did send the money after I emailed.

This past week I again withdrew over $10K, and a few days later I still haven't seen it. I haven't emailed support yet.

Going forward, I will:

a) only withdraw in chunks less than $10K

b) monitor withdrawals more carefully (unfortunately their "history" tab makes this very hard to do if you play a bunch of games, because it mixes up withdrawals with game entries and has no download-to-csv function).
