Fanduel/Draftkings Week 16 (1 Viewer)

He's averaged <5 targets and <3 catches per game over the last 5
Agreed not a "dream" WR.. Just looking to fill that last WR spot at $5500 or lower..

I suppose if I wanted to go "all in" with Rodgers I could throw in Devante Adams there at $5400..

or take a REAL chance on Terrance Williams for only $4500  and use that $1000 on Pierre Thomas over Randle..
I need to start listening to myself :wall: :kicksrock:

lul what. Seahawks D will score more than Lindley. I built something decent around Wilson and Dalton + Seahawks D.

Dalton-Anderson-Hill

DT-Kearse-Sanu

JT-Haush-Seahawks

Wilson-Lynch-Anderson

Sanders-Kearse-Sanu

Gresh-Nugent-Seahawks

Barring a miracle looks like I'll only have a couple small cashes in GPPs this week. Whiffed bad on Moncrief.

I did not have a good feeling about this week and I should have listened to my gut. This is probably going to be my worst week ever.

It's weeks like this where I question if this should be called a game of skill.

I have a small chance of winning a couple of leagues with my Sanchez lineup but it's gonna take some luck.

My Stafford lineup was a huge disastor and basically throwing money away. Should have known better than to rely on Detriot this late in the season.

I made an early lineup and was thinking to myself "boy this is tough" and got carried away with putting together a bunch of bad ones. Should have listened to what my gut was saying too and just left this week alone.

Some people thought that of the Lions and Pickle.

I threw this lineup together with Lindley for a WTH lineup:

QB Ryan Lindley ARI v SEA
RB C.J. Anderson DEN @ CIN
RB Jeremy Hill CIN v DEN
WR Demaryius Thomas DEN @ CIN
WR A.J. Green CIN v DEN
WR Jermaine Kearse SEA @ ARI
TE Julius Thomas DEN @ CIN
K Mike Nugent CIN v DEN
D Arizona Cardinals ARI v SEA

Maybe there is enough power on the rest of the lineup to make up for his shortcomings. I have put together lineups with each starting QB for the prime time games all season and it would be my luck if I didn't this week that I would regret it.

Pretty much whiffing at QB today hurt way more than Moncrief. My Claussen lineup will be one of my better and I ended up using it once in cash and for the freeroll (so of course that lineup did well).

Think the cash cuts will be around 100 or more like 110? I might be able to hang on to some of these lineups and cash a couple from behind, but I'm not winning anything if it's 120.

I'm certainly hoping it's a low scoring week.

Overall a huge disaster. One tourney lineup could potentially pull me out of the basement on DK.

Eli - 30.34

CJ

JStew - 23.90

OBJ - 37.80

Lafell - 13.40

Watkins - 16.50

Witten - 22.00

Gio

Pats D - 5.00

Sitting at 4046 of 92000 in the 400k flea flicker.

what do you normally need to score to get money in a Tourney?
Might be talked about in the strategy thread, but if we covered it before that thread I think we loosely (we didn't compile alot of actual data) came up with 130pts. But to have a shot at winning anything significant it's more like 180. Of course these are averages...this week should be lower across the board.

Seattle D sure did prop up my winnings!

With Lynch up in the air, most people not taking Arz players...that leaves Seattle D, Hauschka, and Wilson as the only real threats tonight. I'm assuming low ownership for all besides Seattle D which seems to be 7-15% across all my contests.

Tomorrow is also interesting with the recent news of Manning and Sanders possibly scaring people away from them. Anderson will be highly owned if the 3 contests where I own him mean anything (39%, 38% and 48%). Alot of other potential players obviously but shouldn't be owned at that rate.

Are those cash games? My tourneys, he's around 20-23%.

My Anderson % are cash contests.

Sounds like I'm faring better than several folks, but it's still nothing like the last 2 weeks for me. Brees was an unmitigated disaster, but Romo and Hill were good in my other 2 cash lineups. Leveon was not good. Moncrief was a complete waste -- again.

Funny how you can score 103pts, and counting, in one game, using only 5 players. I barely touched that in 30 contests.

I'm not going to do as bad overall as I thought I was.

My Stafford lineup was terrible in all contests and was all losses...

but my Sanchez/Tre/Gerhart lineup allowed me to get enough stud players to score 123, and that is surprisingly good this week. I missed in a 5 player league with that lineup by just a couple of points, but will cash 3rd at worst in a 10 man, and maybe still 1st as I'm still up by more than 15. Pretty certain I'll cash in a cheap touney unless I fall thousands of spots, which seems unlikely. But still another annoying week where I spent too much time just to be slightly down again.

RIght now I'm down about 10%, with Anderson on 60% of TNF and Sunday lineups (only remaining player). Get on that horse CJA.

Finished up about 80% on 1pm and Sunday only.

Current scores to cash in an average of several 50/50s:

TNF 96

Sunday 88

For next week, I'm really liking the stack of Ryan and Jones. Jonathan Stewart still seems to have a reasonable price as well. I'm really liking this early lineup:

Ryan

Stewart

Bell

Jones

ODB

Hurns

Cameron

Murray

Vikings

I'm not trying to chase with Cameron, but the combination of Hoyer and Ravens D makes me think he could have a big day. I could go Clay here too.

I'm also looking at building lineups around Rivers/Gates.

One of my double up rosters only scored 48.52 points with CJ Anderson left

Stafford 7.92

Bell 13.7

Stills 9.8

Jackson 7.5

Moncrief 1.5

Kelce 5.1

Graham 2

Bills D 1

That pretty much sums up my whole week 16

I love the short-slate games, and need to pay attention to them more. I feel like the competition is softer.

I threw $20 at the Prime contest, just tonight and tomorrow's game.

Have one lineup with the Wilson/Wilson stack, believe it or not. Everyone was going to be on Orange Julius, so I figured, hey, maybe he'll get a red zone look.

We're all rooting for Sanu and Green tonight, OK?

I've got Dalton/Green going. Should have gone Wilson though, that dude is on fire right now.

Overall a really good week. Was disappointed in Bills D, Brees, and Kelce. Asiata and Terrance Williams were my saviors.
Do you play GPP only?
No. I only entered 4 GPP contests at $1 and $2. Hit one for $25, $5, and $2.50. I mainly play 50/50s.
Man. Hit 3 out of 4? Well done.
The $25 one was all the late games yesterday. I didn't hit too big, but trust me, my overall record in GPP is BAD. I've cut back big time.

An early look at week 17 (prior to considering teams that still have a reason to play):

Logan Thomas - $5k

Cutler - 7500

ASmith - 7300

Ingram

Hill

Forsett - all around 7k

Crowell - nice price at 5500 but tough matchup

Every week I say I'm done with Jimmy Graham, and his price falls more. 6700? Yeesh. Olsen could be a better option for 300 less. The bills have a good pass defense but dont know if they have the personnel to stop Gronk. Thomas could be a good value at 6000.

Texans D could be a solid all-in play at home against Jags; Denver with Oakland at home. Dolphins host the Jets. Minny only put up 4 points last time against Chicago, but that was in Chicago and now at home. Would anyone be surprised if Cutler throws 4 INTs? (contracts above point to Cutler as a decent value lul)

Did I miss a Claussen injury?
Concussion. Cutler back starting.

I feel like week 17 can be exploited if we avoid teams with nothing to play for and target those who have an incentive to win. Will certainly cut my wager down about 50% tho.

I think it's crazy to play any kind of fantasy in week 17. I'm not putting any money on FD.
 not any more crazy then any other week IMO..just off the top of my head..Players from Packers, Lions, Seahawks, Patriots, Steelers, Bengals, Carolina, Falcons and probably others are all good plays.

We have the player universe to choose from. Completely different animal than your standard fantasy league. If u feel like u are good at this and put in the research, this can be a great week to play. As mentioned, probably just lower your amount wagered due to some extra uncertainty, or say I'm not walking away from this season with anything less than $X and don't dip below it.

There will be some soft money out there as well, people who want the action, and take players that may not get much play because it's the last game.

I am looking forward to this week a lot, actually.

Absolutely. I guess if anyone wants to play their normal bankroll week it's not horrible. I may even be there if tonight works out right. Just diversify...and post all news in the week 17 thread!

AJ getting hurt tonight is keeping me from having my best week ever. At least on all the teams I have him going I have CJ going as well.
