Fanduel Week 11 (1 Viewer)

I survived this week with what looks like a small win (I am up over $350, but pretty certain I will lose a few contests tonight where I have no players). I diversified into different lineups (and that actually hurt me as my original thoughts were the strongest teams). Onto a new week.

1) Danario is playing @DEN- I don't really like any receiving option on SD other than Gates (TEs do well vs DEN).2) Alex Smith looks like he could be OK to start vs. CHI. If Cutler doesn't play, I don't like CHI D as much this week.
BOOM lol
I'm not alone in thinking his 2nd TD wasn't a completed catch. 6 of his 7 grabs came with 7 mins left, down more than two scores (and he was literally the only guy targetted for the last drive). If you rolled the dice, more power to you, but it seemed risky on paper.Defenses were brutal this week- HOU was considered a slam dunk, and STL was considered a strong sleeper, and both were disappointments. We'll see how that bodes for CHI/SF tonight.
If his final stat line was 3 catches for 30 yards and a TD I would be happy, right? Considering what he cost, it was totally worth it regardless of the rest of the points he got. He was the #1 target in the offense and River's trusts him.I think Chicago vs Kaepernick is a great matchup. I would have thought that no matter how the rest of the games went
It isn't all about cost. The Foles starters could tell you all about that.Alex Smith was only ruled out recently. Not before the Sun 1pm games, and Smith was practicing before even the Thu game. Even with Kaepernick, the SF offense could do the same thing vs. CHI that CAR did a few weeks back. Most of the top defenses of the week were in projected shootouts, and the top two didn't even play vs. backup QBs.

I know its not all about cost. But if you can grab guys at a low enough price it frees up more money for the rest of the roster. So although its not all about cost, its definitely a factor. Especially if you find a guy you think with far outproduce his price. It was clear to everyone at the beginning of the week there was a chance Smith would miss the game with his concussion, the 49ers offense is far from a juggernaut no matter who is in at QB. I like the match up either way. The fact that Smith isn't playing just makes it better. The Bears have been dominant from a defensive scoring standpoint this year and I don't see what would change dramatically this week to hinder that.

Man, it looks like I will be surviving in almost every league I got stuck with Aaron Hernandez. God bless you Marcell Reece. I am conservatively estimating a 300 dollar profit this week.

Condia scored 94 in our head to head...I think he plays the same lineup throughout? Could be a painful week for him. Dodds...I was in line with you on most of my players. Hope you ended up better than me.
He didn't break 100 in any contest I've been involved with him.

3 for 3 in the 50/50's and 2 for 4 in the tourneys

Best lineup was 142.58 pts

Palmer

Foster

Spiller

A Johnson

C Johnson

AJ Green

Meyers

Vinatieri

Houston (0 pts)

Other winning lineups had Reece/Spiller RB combo, Brees/Graham and Balt D

Had Steve Smith in many lineups and he was a huge disappointment.

Gonna need to work hard to find value at QB this week. Ive been using Palmer a lot but he's getting too expensive.

Small potatoes, but will let it all ride again this week.

Yes. That lineup was in a beginner league 50/50 with a $65K cap

Win some, lose some, eh buddy?Bears D is stout, but the fact remains, when Cutler goes out and the offense completely stalls, they can't do it all themselves.

I never like bashing Condia since I play him a lot and find him to be pretty good - but winning two $535 H2H on that crazy sack-safety was awesome.http://www.fanduel.com/entry/QXRPEJ

HAH! yup, we split. :eggonmyface:I still liked the match-up either way, but they got absolutely embarrassed last night. Seemed like the bears were completely clueless on how to stop Kaepernick.O well, even with the bears embarrassing themselves it was still a successful week, hopefully this is foreshadowing on the rest of the season.
