Fanduel week 17 (1 Viewer)

Team ROFLCOPTERS

Footballguy
This is the last week. I'm taking my 1800 bucks I've made this year and putting it all in this week. Let's get this thread as popular as it was mid season before the haters came in with all of the FD negativity.

Victor Cruz looks like a huge bargain.

Colin Kaepenick looks logical at his price.

Jackie Battle at 5400 while playing Oakland looks like a good bet.

putting 1800 on Cruz Kaep and Battle sounds like a big risk to me.

I would be looking for teams playing in big playoff implication games and filling my roster with them.

Dez Bryant

Pierre Garcon

are both must in my opinion

Peterson playing Green Bay with a shot at the record, and the Packers soft run defense looks nice

Reggie Bush with another nice matchup and playing for big money in the offseason at a bargain price

QB I really like Romo once again or RG3 in a shootout game. Mike Vick also could be a nice play if you want to take a chance, the guy is playing for a job next year and will be looking to cash in.

Those are all the players I have to have so far. I won't give you my whole lineup but at least those are a few insights. The key to winning at FanDuel is hitting on Defense and Tight End. Love the 49ers at 5300, and if I have money to spare would go Seahawks. TE has to be Witten or Graham this week but I think I would lean Witten.

Will Dodds be writing a week 17 article?
I am sure he will be, wouldn't see why not. The nice thing about FanDuel is that Week 17 and the first few rounds of the playoffs are actually relevant in the world of Fantasy Football.

Sorry just jumping on the Fanduel bandwagon as my leagues are finishing up.Is that article located in the paid content? I am a FBG subscriber.I see an article listed as Fanduel bargains by Cummings but nothing by Dodds. Thanks for the help.

Any specific reason why you would shy away from Cruz at 6200?

I can find much better options for that price range for guys that I know will put up points. What does Cruz or the Giants have to play for in week 17? Not much in my opinion. He might go something like 6 for 60 and a 50% shot at a TD, but you want home run threats at this point.

Here are a few guys at WR that are much better value in that same price range

1. Garcon 6000 - he is a WR1 and in a playoff type of game against the Cowboys you have to play him

2. Austin 6000 - Redskins secondary is not very good, Dez is probably the better play but will cost you more, Austin could break out at any moment

I would take both Garcon and Austin (Or Dez if you can afford 7600) and match them with a stud WR1 such as Calvin or Marshall. Cruz is ranked high right now on a lot of sites for projections but I think that number goes down as we get closer to Sunday. I view Cruz as a WR3 type this weekend and would consider the following three over Cruz at this point.

3. Blackmon 6100 - Shorts is done and Blackmon has been coming on, nice matchup against the soft Titans Defense.

4. Colston 6500 - Saints are going to put up a lot of points with a back and forth type of game. Colston is due

5. Alexander 6100 - He gets the Raiders defense, he is the ultimate boom or bust but awesome for a WR3 in this format.

I like taking 3 of these five this week at WR:

Calvin 8800

Marshall 8200

Dez 7600

Garcon 6000

Austin 6000

I prefer the combo of Marshall/Dez/Garcon

Congrats to Eaglezzz on the big win last week.

Key this week will probably be finding a cheap player or two that will see more action than normal and put up a big game.

Someone like Turbin (4800)who could get a lot of carries if GB wins @ 1:00 and Sea has no shot for a Bye (need Win + GB & SF loss).

Atl can't gain or lose anything, Would expect White and maybe Julio to see limited action. Harry Douglas (4800) could see a bunch of targets.

Balt actually has a better matchup if they lose, Cin D isn't cheap, but might be able to get a TD on Special Teams as a lot of the teams guys will be getting more off/def action then normal.
